A fitting ending for an awesome series

Even if the original ending was already good per se, but this is equally good nonetheless. With themes that, oddly enough, reminds me of the Sci-Fi Masterpiece Zardoz. Highly recommended, like the series preceding it.

Trivia
The series creator Yoshiyuki Tomino makes an appearance near the end of the film: he appears in a spacesuit on the Solo Ship's bridge with storyboard illustrations in his hands (fittingly, Tomino himself is killed in the film).
