Seems to be the final installment, though seems to leave stuff unresolved.

Miko and her gang of ninjas are back for what seems to be the final time. So you just know things are going to be answered and the story is going to finish up quite nicely. Well forget it, you will be none the wiser about questions raised or what they were doing than you were at the beginning. The only thing that happens is what you expected to happen between Miko and the love of her life at the end. Still, it is the best one of the four as there is a lot of sex and a couple of prolonged ones at that. Unlike the first two episodes of this series that seemed to only show the sex in quick snippets. Here we go right back to where Miko was left in the previous episode, she has a great encounter with this one girl at a pond or something, meanwhile the cute new ninja introduced in the previous episode finds her self in a very tight predicament. It would be nice if this series tried to wrap up some stuff as this does look to be the final episode and nothing is really resolved other than the doomed relationship. This series looks better than the older ones, but the sex is not in it enough, the erotic elements seemed to be held back till the final two episodes. So while it was okay, this set of movies just were not everything I was hoping for.

The makers of this seemed to forget why people want to see this series.

This one continues the story set out in the first part. Miko and Nin Nin are trying to evade the forces now invading her father's realm while her two buds Yaku and Fabuki are captured. Like the previous part of this series the erotic element seems to have been diminished greatly. Any scene that starts getting hot and heavy usually ends up rushed, couple of seconds and it is over. More dialog which I am almost certain is not the reason people watch La Blue Girl. Still, it has a good villain and there are some interesting parts to the story. In the final two episodes there really was not all that much of a plot to speak of, however I enjoyed them more as the erotic stuff is in fuller form as the scenes last more than a blink of an eye. The animation though looks really good, better than the earlier stuff, but once again the earlier stuff had more sex and stuff within them. These first two episodes are a bit like the Lady Blue set of La Blue Girl, though they had a couple of longer lasting sex scenes at the beginning for the most part the main focus was on the story and I just do not think people watch these for the story.

This series of La Blue starts out rather slowly.

I have seen this series, at least the first four episodes which seems to be all there is. The first two episodes tie in together as do the final two episodes. Basically, it seems like two two parters rather than one four parter though there is mention of the first two episodes in the last two. For the most part though their plots are different. This one welcomes you back to Miko and her way of life. She is with her sister as they are about to meet the sister's boyfriend. Well it is not to long that Miko is attacked by a female ninja and the story blasts off. The sad thing here though is that the sex is minimal, and when it is getting good it is usually cut very short or Nin Nin is making comments and jokes. I have no problem watching an anime with no sex or nudity, but this is La Blue Girl, this is supposed to be a bit more on the erotic side. This one kind of ends on a cliff hanger and also seems like the longest of the four parts. It does have a rather good part that continues over, while the last two episodes are lighter on plot, but make up for it by being a lot heavier on the erotic elements. So that is probably why I prefer those two to these first two.

This episode gears this short series back to the sex.

While the sex is still not really in abundance this episode at least features a longer sex scene near the end that is not over super quickly like nearly all the sex scenes in the previous two episodes. The comedy was also better in this one too as a cute new red head ninja is introduced. The story picks up on a concept mentioned in the previous two installments, that of the Shikimi brain. It also introduces Miko to a guy that she falls for, but from everything presented this relationship is going to be doomed to tragedy. So while the plot in this one does not feature as good of a villain or plot, there are just things I like better as the erotic element is up, the comedy is better and the girls are featured more doing regular things rather than ninja stuff. I do not know about anyone else, but I mainly watch these films for the sexy stuff and comedy, not the battles. There are plenty of other anime movies out there that feature really good battles and there is no sex around. Things always get a bit to muddled when combining the two. This one was better, but still could have been great had they focused more on the comedy and sex.
