Trivia
Sam Flint, who usually played a wizened old man, such as a stableman or prospector, had a white collar role in this installment, playing a banker. It's one of the few times you hear him speaking in his normal voice, rather than a crackly old man's voice.

Goofs
Plastic explosives were not developed until after 1875. And that was in Europe. They didn't come into wide usage until World War I.
