I don't remember hearing about this movie going to theaters. So when I chanced upon it in the New Release section of blockbuster and read the back "An ancient druid book of unspeakable power has survived for centuries, protected by the dark shadows of the natural world. etc.." I thought this movie would be good no doubt about it. Well. the premise is good. The actual movie however is horrid. The actors (if you can call them that) are pretty much on par with Napolean Dynamite (not in a funny way, in an bad emotionless way). You will find yourself thinking "Is he scared, or is he just cold". Aside from the acting, or lack thereof, the movie appears to have been filmed with a home video recorder. Even then, it would make you wonder if you yourself could have created a better movie with that recorder you've got stored in the garage. I believe the movie could have had promise had it been done by a major production company. Overall, this movie receives a 1.
Hey all, thanks for checking out our flick. We started filming it when we were 19. I think the "story" of the filming process of the movie should be brought to attention. We never worked a camera or never took a film class. It does show throughout the film, but remember to take this film lightly, it is what it is. It's a "no budget" not a "low budget" cheesy horror flick. We wanted to make something that you could sit down, grab some beers and drink with your friends while making fun of it. If you have watched this movie seriously, you got some issues. It was made to be cheesy and bad, for pure entertainment purposes. Next month I will post a list of funny things that happen in it. For example, cameras being in the shot and snow, (yes, snow). Cheers!
this is one truly awful--i hesitate to use the word--movie.it's very low budget, which isn't always a bad thing.the real problem with this movie is the abysmal acting, which overshadows everything.the story is stupid also.i have seen better high school plays,i kid you not.i didn't make it any where near the end of this movie.it just got to the point where i couldn't take it anymore.i felt sure my head would explode if i watched another microsecond.just because you have a camera and some friends to appear in in front of said camera, doesn't mean you are making a movie.i don't know what this was,but movie doesn't describe it.this is just my opinion, and some people may have fun with how awful it is,but i thought it was beyond that point.this turkey gets a very well deserved 0/10
This movie was created by two young lads who are HUGE fans of cheesy horror films, who had the balls and the will to pursue their dream of making such a movie. With no money, a few credit cards, and the help of friends, they managed to put it all together. And it was picked up and distributed all around north America. So, for all of the people who had nothing but bad things to say about it, rent it again, and watch it in this light. (and maybe, get off your couch and try to create something.) To those who liked it, good for you.
if anybody watched this movie, and liked either the score or the song at the start of the black screened credit roll, then please check out that artist's (colin harringtons) band page on myspace and listen to his new work.

This movie was absolutely awful - bad acting combined with way too many showy camera shots, and a storyline that was hard to follow and made very little sense. I only watched through to the end with hope for something good, but was disappointed when the film came up with nothing redeeming to end the movie with. There was either overacting or underacting, and nothing was consistent. And the lines that were trying to be funny just didn't belong. The opening shots made the movie appear to be interested, but it was only a letdown from then on. I do not recommend this movie unless you are a film student looking for what not to do when making movies. This looked like the work of an overzealous film student.
