Tamera Mowry-Housley's Memoir Follows Her Journey to Finding "Hope on the Other Side"
Image
Two pivotal pop culture debuts changed this mixed-race millennial. The first was in 1990, when a fresh-faced Mariah Carey sang "Vision of Love" on "MTV Unplugged." And the second came in a newspaper ad about a brand-new show featuring twins separated at birth: "Sister, Sister."

Once "twin-damonium" hit ABC, I was stirring in my Blossom hat, flannel button-down, and baggy jeans. Tamera and Tia Mowry were bubbly brown girls with a hit TV show filled with hijinks and heart - and they had curls like me! Since then, I've felt a bond with the two, as their careers took them from "Sister, Sister" to "Twitches," Tia Mowry-Hardrict to "The Game," and Tamera Mowry-Housley to an Emmy-winning turn on "The Real."

And it's with that same familiarity that I devoured Mowry-Housley's new memoir, "You Should Sit Down For This: A Memoir About Life, Wine, and Cookies." In a way only she can,...

Tia and Tamera Mowry's Kids Are All Grown Up in Adorable Playdate Photos
Des amours de soeurcières (2005)
Sister, sister! For Tia and Tamera Mowry, family is everything.   The twins, 43, took to Instagram on May 23 to share adorable pics of their recent family reunion. Tia gushed about how special it was that they were able to watch their kids "play together." In one photo shared by both Tia and Tamera, the Twitches stars made silly faces; in another, Tia's 10-year-old son, Cree Hardrict, stood directly behind Tamera as his shocked aunt reacted to how tall he had grown.  "So much fun with you sissy!" Tamera wrote in her caption. "Family is everything. Great laughs, conversations and pure love. Look how tall Cree has gotten?! I see you @tahj_mowry and...

Under Wraps Trailer Reveals the Disney Channel's Halloween Plans for the 90s Remake
Image
Under Wraps, the Disney Channel mummy movie released in 1997, is finding new life in a modern remake coming to Disney Channel this October. On August 12, Disney released a minute-long trailer showing off what the new version of the film will look like. The new Under Wraps will star Christian J. Simon, Malachi Barton, Sophia Hammons, and Phil Wright. Alan Zamm directed this upcoming Under Wraps remake.

While this version has a more modern feel, it will follow the same basic premise as the 1997 version. It takes place around the time of Halloween and it involves three kids who find a stolen mummy.

"The re-imagined story takes place a few days before Halloween when 12-year-old friends Gilbert (Simon), Marshall (Barton) and Amy (Hammons) accidentally revive a mummy they discover in a neighbor's basement, which they affectionately name Harold (Wright). However, they must rush to return him to his resting place before midnight on Halloween.

‘The Masked Singer’ spoilers: Seashell is …
Image
We are thrilled that the Seashell made it to the Super 8 competing on April 21 episode of “The Masked Singer.” We’ve been a fan of hers since she made her debut as part of Group A on the season 5 premiere on March 10. Back then she rocked the house with her cover of “Listen to Your Heart” by Roxette. She returned in Week 3 and impressed with her version of “Confident” by Demi Lovato. And she secured her place in the quarter-final last week with her rendition of “Tell Me Something Good” by Rufus feat. Chaka Khan.

The judges are fans of the Seashell as well. But we don’t think they are right with any of their guesses. The Seashell is not Ashanti, Keke Palmer, Alicia Silverstone or Tamia.

We’ve rewatched all of the Seashell performances as well as her clues videos. Keep reading for “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including...

‘The Masked Singer’ spoilers: Seashell is …
Image
The Seashell is our personal favorite among the Group A contestants on “The Masked Singer.” She may not have the best voice but she certainly can sell a song. We are thrilled that she has made it to the Group A final that airs on April 14. Seashell faces off against the Robopine and Russian Dolls, who’ve been part of Group A from the start, as well as the Wild Card entry Orca, who first surfaced on March 24.

That episode marked the final appearance of the fifth contender from this group: the Raccoon, who was revealed by guest host Niecy Nash to be “Machete” movie star Danny Trejo. The sixth competitor in Group A, the Snail, was eliminated in the March 10 premiere and turned out to be The Muppets star Kermit the Frog.

In week 1, Seashell had the room rocking with her cover of “Listen to Your Heart” by Roxette.

‘The Masked Singer’ spoilers: Who is Seashell?
Image
The five remaining contestants in Group A took to the stage again on episode 3 of season 5 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired Wednesday (March 24) on Fox. They first performed on the premiere episode two weeks ago. That marked the first (and last) appearance of the sixth contender from this group: the Snail lost the studio audience vote and was revealed to be The Muppets star Kermit the Frog.

Kermie’s one-time competitors are disguised as the Porcupine, Raccoon, Russian Dolls and Seashell. We rewatched all of their performances from two weeks ago as well as their clues videos. We are convinced we are on the right track when it comes to revealing the real names of the rest of Group A. Keep reading for “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the true identity of the Seashell, who sang “Listen to Your Heart” by Roxette on March 10.

We are certain that the Seashell is Tamera Mowry,...

Disney+'s Spooked Movie Is Turning Trick or Treaters Into Their Halloween Costumes
Image
Disney+ is getting into the Halloween movie business. It has been revealed that the streaming service is making a new original movie titled Spooked. This will be an original production specifically for Disney+ that is described as a "supernatural comedy." For the time being, many details are being kept under wraps but this could serve as a hefty dose of nostalgia for those who grew up watching Halloween movies on the Disney Channel.

According to a new report, Disney has set Peter Foott to direct Spooked. Foott will also re-write the screenplay. The first draft was penned by Tyler Burton Smith, who previously wrote 2019's Child's Play remake. Smith is also behind the upcoming Kung Fury 2. As for Foott, he previously directed 2016's The Young Offenders, which was later turned into a TV series. Some of his other credits include Republic of Telly and The Centre. Dan Lin...
