    Donkey Kong Country rules!

This game is awesome! It's fun, challenging, addictive, and it stars our favorite monkey in gaming: Donkey Kong! One night, Donkey Kong's bananas are stolen, and it's up to him and Diddy Kong to get them all back. It's a side-scrolling plat-former for Super Nintendo, and is also on Game Boy Color and Game Boy Color. When a game has been remade twice, you know it's classic! Super Mario Bros. was remade a number of times, and it's still a classic just like Donkey Kong Country. The Game Boy Advance version's graphics aren't that good compared to the Super Nintendo version, or even the Game Boy Color version, but on Game Boy Advance is still a fun and addictive game for fans of the original. 8/10.

    Let Me explain

This is my favorite video game of all time. It has been apart of my childhood since I was 10 (it was released in 1994, do the math) and even though technology might've been increased, I will always have this game in my heart. It is a brilliant achievment in Super Nintendo terms (which is now obsolete) by bringing the famous game chimp to 32-bit 3-d life and it is a lot of fun. It is above on my list of all games, even mario, as a adventure RPG game by having challenges and twists at every turn (not to mention a not too bad story). Remarkable. A++

The Best out of all three, One of the Best Games I've Ever Played Since Childhood

When the Original Donkey Kong Country came up, It was a very playable game and I've stuck with since the day I was born. Donkey Kong is a sleep and the Kremlins take away his Banana hoard. The next day Doneky & Diddy vow vengeance to get their hoard back.

The Game is very basic and if you are really good at it, you'll complete the game in an hour. I love the environments that you roam around through from snow mountains to dirty factories.

It also contains animal buddies to ride, brutal bosses to verse and memorable themes DKC offers a wide range of game play for any fans who are an old fan of old game play.

I suggest you play this game, it will be the best game you ever play. 9.7/10

    Donkey Kong Country!

The Donkey Kong series is one of the most different adventure video games! The characters, the action, and the sure thrill of adventure makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!

Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!

Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Super Nintendo system. The backgrounds are really beautiful!

Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!

Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!

Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!

Overall: I have always loved Donkey Kong Country! If you like excellent adventure up games then I strongly recommend you play this game!

Best game for the Super Nintendo!

Donkey Kong Country is a really classic game. Everybody who saw it back in 1994 thought that this was a game for Nintendo`s new 64-bit system(Nintendo 64). But Donkey Kong Country was a game for the 16-bit Super Nintendo(Super Famicom in Japan). The extremely good graphics that blew everybody away were possible to do on a SNES(short for Super Nintendo Entertainment System) because the developers discovered a new technique to make SNES-games(the Advanced-Computer-Modelling technique). The graphics are impressive, even by today`s standard. But DKC didn`t become a classic just because it looked lush, it also had gameplay and atmosphere to die for. The levels are highly detailed, there are many of them and the excellent music makes for one he%& of an adventure. The game can be extremely frustrating, and you`ll throw away the control and swear like he¤%, but the game is really worth the bother, so you`ll soon pick up the controller again for one more go. I prefer this to Donkey Kong 64 on the N64. DKC is SO GOOD!! 10/10

    • Trivia
Selling more than 9 million copies, this went on to become the third-best-selling Super Nintendo title in history.
    • Goofs
King K. Rool is a crocodile and he has a navel, in real life crocodilians and other reptiles do not possess navels, this trait is only found in mammals, more specifically placental mammals. He's an anthropomorphic fictional character, not an anatomically and scientifically correct animal.
    • Quotes

Cranky Kong (Text Narration): [after Donkey and Diddy defeat King K. Rool] Well done, Donkey, my boy! Who would've thought a young whippersnapper like you could've beaten that bunch of no-good Kremlings? You've made an old man proud! Go and look in your hoard; I think you'll be in for a surprise! If I had been playing, I'd have found everything! I'm sure there must be some bonus rooms you haven't found!

    • Crazy credits
When you jump on King K. Rool the sixth time, he goes down, then the scene darkens and some goofy credits toll: Kredits Koding...........Klap Trap Karacters........Krusha Kolouring........Kritter Koncept..........Klump Kommander........King K. Rool The End? But watch out because King K. Rool is about to get up again!
    • Alternate versions
Was rereleased in 2000 for the Game Boy Color with toned down grapics and two new options, a printer mode and a bonus stage.
    • Connections
Edited into Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: La Marche des Mini (2006)
