    Best shojo EVER!

I absolutely love Marmalade Boy and I'm so happy they have finally released it to DVD. My anime collection will just have to make room for this MUST HAVE. The characters are unbelievable. You watch them all from young teenager grow into a young adult and better understand the way they feel about others including their parents, fellow students, and newly acquired siblings. The artwork is gorgeous and there is so much plot you'll never get bored. So much drama in one show it should be classified as a soap-opera. All the characters are lovable. If you do watch this be sure to get a box of tissues. I cried so hard! Miki and Yuu are the main characters but the supporting characters only add to it.

    Great romantic Anime

I watched it in the middle of 2020 on TV (I'm Italian so it's normal that national channels air cartoons like this) and It's a sweet sentimental story. Totally recommended ^w^

    This anime made me smile!!

Honestly if you aren't into a step brother and step sister slowly becoming a couple, I highly suggest to not watch this anime. However it didn't bother me at all and yeah I know I watched a good few episodes rather than the whole thing but I really liked this anime! Yuu and Miki are literally a match like it was interesting to see them get use to each other romantically. They are just adorable tbh!

Lads, if you ever feel romantic and wanna try out classic anime, go for this one. It might be an ideal date night for yourself and your loved one ^^

Great Anime, and there's a movie too!

Marmalade Boy is a great anime. The story is about a girl named Miki with very strange parents. When her parents meet another couple, things get weirder as she suddenly now has two new step-parents and a new step-brother. But she has a plan. She and her "new brother" will put a stop to this ridiculous plan to divorce, switch partners and remarry. Problem is, her new brother doesn't seem to care! And no one told Miki that Yuu was so good looking. So in addition to her strange parents, Miki now has to deal with strange step parents, Miki has a new step-brother she has a crush on yet can't figure out, and now her long time crush finally confesses his love to her! You think this is a lot, wait til you get past these first few episodes.

Now, after you watch the entire series (no cheating on this), find the Marmalade Boy movie. This movie shows Yuu's reaction to the news about his parents' plans to swap partners and shows his first meeting Miki from his Point of View. I say to watch the series first, because this movie gives you a new prospective and you'll enjoy watching the series the second time as you'll finally see what Miki doesn't. But as I said, don't cheat. The series is a lot of fun when you are as lost about Yuu as Miki is!

    Mushy romance at its finest

Marmalade Boy is probably the best TV series I've seen for what it tries to be. I first saw this on a fansub (I don't think this has been released in the US by a major distributor yet, keeping fingers crossed!) and was immediately hooked! OK, first of all, if you like Dragon Ball Z you probably won't like this series. Just because it's an anime it doesn't mean there is fighting and amazing superpowers. This is a shoujo (or girl's) anime. However, don't feel that you can't watch it just because you are of the male gender! This show is so excellent in terms of character design, plot twists, and general unpredictability that it will mesmerize you if you have any romantic side at all. The reason everyone likes this series is the romance, after all. There are so many times in this series when I just had to say, "Oh, that's so sweet..." Romantic anime doesn't get any better than this, so check it out! 9/10
