The Greatest Band Ever as told by the guy from "A Clockwork Orange"...

1995's "The Beatles Anthology" surpassed all previous Beatle documentaries, including this one. But of those past ones, this is the best. The only drawback is that the Beatles don't appear in interviews much. But the music is great, and the information will satiate any beginning Beatle fan.

Paul McCartney bought the rights to this film and removed it from circulation, presumably so that it wouldn't compete with the Beatles' official 'Beatles Anthology' documentary.

Goofs
When they were told about the cartoon movie, Yellow Submarine, the narration states that the only thing the Beatles knew about the cartoon animation was that it was being done by the people that made "The Flintstones," a Hanna-Barbera Production.

Yellow Submarine was produced by Al Brodax and King Features Syndicate.
