Lar Park-Lincoln, who played Linda Fairgate in nearly 50 episodes of CBS’ 1979-1993 primetime sudser Knots Landing, died on April 22. She was 63.

A cause of death was not immediately made available. Park-Lincoln had battled breast cancer since 2008, and as of 2012 had already gone through nine surgeries.

Lar Park Lincoln, who played dual characters on “Knot’s Landing” and starred in “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood,” died April 22. She was 63.

Her company Actors Audition Studios announced her death on Facebook.

For five years, Lincoln played Linda Fairgate, daughter-in-law to the character Karen Fairgate, who was played by Michele Lee. She also appeared as the character known as Sally’s friend — who was a dead body for eight episodes.

Her first screen role was as a young sex worker in TV movie “Children of the Night” opposite Kathleen Quinlan and Mario Van Peebles.

She went on to have roles in “Heart of the City,” “Hunter,” “Outlaws,” “The Princess Academy,” “House II,” and “Highway to Heaven.”

After appearing as Tina Shepard, the teenage protagonist with telekinetic abilities in “Friday the 13th Part VII,” Lincoln appeared in “Freddy’s Nightmares,” “Murder She Wrote,” “Beverly Hills 90210” and “City of Justice.

Park Lincoln arrived on CBS’ Knots Landing in 1987 as Linda, the daughter-in-law of Michele Lee’s Karen Fairgate, during the primetime soap’s ninth season. Netflix's weekly Top 10 lists are always worth a look, not least of all because they often reveal truly unexpected gems that the streaming platform has managed to resurrect. For example, FlixPatrol is reporting that "Alpha" (a film that was absolutely overlooked upon its initial release) made it onto Netflix's Top 10 in multiple countries on April 6, 2025, and has continued to chart in much of the world in the week since then.

Directed and co-written by Albert Hughes, "Alpha" is a 2018 survival adventure in which an injured Ice Age-era young man is separated from his tribe and has to team up with a similarly inconvenienced wolf to stay alive. Starring Kodi Smit-McPhee and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, the movie is an entertaining and exciting adventure in a relatively uncommon live-action setting. As such, it's good to see that streaming has given this largely forgotten film a new chance to find its audience.

As the post reads, “Movie icon Wings Hauser took flight in the arms of his film & music partner, Cali Lili Hauser at their studio this weekend.“

Known for having one of the coolest names in cinema history, Wings Hauser was actually born Gerald Dwight Hauser on December 12, 1947. “Wings” was part of a stage name (Wings Livinryte) he used for a 1975 folk music album called Your Love Keeps Me Off the Streets, and he was credited as Wings Livinryte when he appeared on an episode of the TV series Cannon that same year. After that, he moved on to calling himself Wings Hauser.

The arc features a raid, which is one of the most significant moments in the history of Solo Leveling’s story and for all hunters, especially those from Japan and Korea. However, the one issue with the Jeju Island arc is that it portrays Sung Jinwoo in a negative light in the beginning.

The reason behind this is that he initially rejects the raid and willingly lets other hunters face the dangers of the monstrous ants, which ultimately leads to the death and injury of most of them. And while he eventually joins the raid and saves the hunters of Korea, it doesn’t justify him letting others die when he could have easily saved them all and avoided the casualties that happened in Solo Leveling.
