Kringle Time

What was I thinking by watching this movie? It started out dull and vulgar and only got worse. I thought it might get a little better, but it didn't. I still don't see why they wasted the resources necessary in making this movie. It was completely pointless. Also, what is it with all the foul language? It ruins every movie made in the past few years. I agree that a well placed expletive used sparingly can be monumental in certain situations, but what is the purpose of all the vulgar language in this and other movies? It simply ruins them. Of course, Kringle Time was the source of its own ruination. It is simply a pointless movie - a complete waste of all resources. I wish I had that hour and half back! Watching grass grow would have been a more constructive use of that time, not to mention far more entertaining.

Quite shocked at the IMDb standing here. Saw this movie premiere and it was amazing. Comedy riot with serious undertones that culminate into a discovery of self. It's not what I looks like, because what it looks like is something you're going to tell yourself you're not in the mood to see. But what it is, is hilarious, emotional and a triumph.

Problem was when I came across this film , it just said it was a comedy , well their was nothing funny about this film , have a watch and make up your own mind.

It's definitely drama !

The reason that I love this film is that it accomplishes the rare feat of creating an exaggerated world of comedy and pain, resulting in dark comedy that somehow feels more realistic than imagined. Add to that mix a remarkable cast, excellent direction, and the independent spirit you get when a bunch of friends who work on others people's films for a living jump on the chance to do something for themselves, and "Kringle Time" is not a film that any fan of Indies should miss.
