    It's like 80's comedy/horror. So stupid it's funny

5.8/10 This movie is much better than you'd think. But only if you're a fan of the 80's style cornball comedy genre. If not, you'll probably hate it. It covers a lot of the stereotypes associated with trailer parks and residents. The timing on the quips delivered and everyone in the movie just goes on acting not missing a beat without laughing takes talent alone. Thomas Ian Nicholas, Lulu Jovovich and most of the supporting cast played their parts very well. If you're a fan of CGI when it first came out, or enjoy terrible CGI, this film is it. Thank you for reading my post. I am a MovieFreak rUaMovieFreak2

    Trash

There are budget shark movies (sharknado etc) and then there is THIS. Had to turn it off after 20 mins it was so boring and the cgi was appalling. Don't see how this has 5.3 and sharknado has 3.3.... what an absolute joke.

Give it a chance. You will laugh out loud. Captivating in a Cheesy way.

Yes, it is obvious that the shark effects are cheesy, and more like a video game, but the directors knew that, and that's what captivates the viewer, much like a "Godzilla" movie does, and it gives it the flavor. The studio effect rainwater following the Jet Ski rider is already embedded in my laugh track. My girlfriend, and I started watching it, just for the funny Redneck factor, much like seeing a train wreck, but before we knew it, we were laughing out loud, very hard with some of those scenes, and excellent one liners. "...like a Motherless goat", taken from 3 Amigos. It fit perfectly. There are too many to remember. There is a solid, simple but effective plot. The actors all were surprisingly very good, each skilled in their own right. The lead actor brought some normalcy to the role, knowing he was less of a Redneck, but was embracing his lowlife status. A convincing hero in the movie. They played their Redneck roles extremely well. (I'm from Texas). The actors actually sold the movie, given the B movie budget, and made it almost believable in some quirky way. It was a surprising treat recognizing a very intimidating Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins) from tv's "Saved by the Bell". We watched it all, and the movie held our attention every redneck second. We couldn't wait for the commercials to end, just to see what was going to happen next. Several times we even shamefully jumped, like one would in a Wes Craven movie. Grab yourself a Lone Star Beer, frozen Daiquiri, or wine, and Watch this Movie. It deserves Cult classic status.

    • Trivia
During the rehearsal process for "Trailer Park Shark" Sophie Howell, who plays Barb, jokingly suggested that during her electrocution scene she have a dance montage just for the bloopers. The director, Griff Furst, loved the idea and, unfortunately, ended up putting it in the movie.
    • Goofs
The shark suffers a burn to the side of its face. But the side that is burned keeps switching back and forth from the right to the left.
    • Quotes

Daisy: I'll teach you to keep trying to bear trap my man with your coo-coo.

Barb: It's a little too late for that, ya drunk fish... At least I don't go around town letting everybody tongue punch my fart box.
