The Soup-Over

This series of Count Arthur Strong have been riffing old movies and this one in some way parodies films like Rosemary's Baby and The Wicker Man even though it is all about soup.

Sinem has bagged tickets for a hit show. Michael is not keen on it because it requires random audience participation where you get lifted to the rafters.

He agrees to go to Arthur's for a soup-over with his friends Eggy and John, where they watch horse racing on a VHS tape. Actually the same race over and over again, taste different soups and brainstorm new inventions such as a brick to save water when flushing the change.

The whole soup-over drives Michael crazy, so much so that he realises he would be better off attending the show with Sinem.

The episode was crazy as a box of frogs with Bulent ending up being the chosen one with his taste for soup.

Originally scheduled to be broadcast in the UK on BBC One on Friday, 16th June 2017 but due to the rescheduling of the previous episode was pushed back a week to Friday, 23rd June 2017. Many UK listings originally had episode #3.7 "Safari Park" billed as episode #3.4 and this episode as #3.5.
