Arthur the Hat

Michael while giving Arthur his post at the cafe finds out he has been chosen for jury duty. The reason why Michael is giving Frank the post is because Arthur has sealed up his postbox as a dog caught him in his Kevin Klein underwear.

Arthur and the gang come to court to give Michael some moral support but when Arthur is caught giving Michael an envelope it attracts police attention. John the Watch meanwhile finds his old gangster chums hanging around at the court and they want to know who he is working for. He nervously points to Arthur and calls him Arthur the Hat.

Count Arthur Strong is always a bit Marmite but this was a consistently funny episode with a pastiche of The Godfather, actor Bruce Payne turns up as a rival gangster intrigued by this Arthur the Hat fellow. All Arthur wanted to do was nice things to get that Brian Cox feeling.
