Amusing satire of our political landscape, which takes shots at both sides. People on the Left will probably be offended though, because it's old style comedy, not mean comedy that only belittles the Right, and the Left has a hard time laughing at themselves nowadays. Obama was a goldmine of comedy, but of course SNL and late shows never touched it.
It's done very well for a low budget production. The actors play the parts without slapstick or tongue in cheek, and make the characters as real as possible for a satire. I enjoyed it, and appreciated seeing something that was more American than Right or Left.

Juvenile and puerile. A comedy that often includes toilet humor, and gags that appeal to the immature. Were the "actors" asked to bring all their own props and costumes? Production values were so low that it was more like a basement film. A few decent performances were ruined by a complete lack of sync with the soundtrack. Did they record voices first, and then try to match them to the film? Poorly written. Was there even a director? I want my time back.
I mean this in a good way. It's packed with politics and yet, somehow, manages to tweak everyone evenly. It's loaded with enough sight gags and other film spoofs that if it actually offends your political sensibilities, then you probably need either more introspection... less.
Overall this movie was terrible, the only reason I gave it two stars is that, sometimes the editing or the plot would be so ludicrous that I found it hilarious. All in all, it's good for killing time on a Sunday night, but not much else.
A wry, pungent and topical satire! I would love to stop reviewing this movie now, but this program keeps on telling me that my review is too short.
