Final Destination movies are popular not because of the similar plot, which is why it's easy to have so many successful films, but because of the way people die.
As usual, this was entertaining and worth watching, if you are a fan.
However, the casting brings unnecessary confusion and interrupts what should be an easy, enjoyable experience.
A Latino girl, with the last name of Reyes, turns out to have an Asian father, and a very blond blue eyed brother, which made me have to suspend my belief and try not to get caught up in why the heck it was cast this way.
It's not that the actors weren't competent, but come on, there is an absolute glut of actors, so why????
I thought about taking 2 stars off because this was so annoying, but I took off only 1.

Considering that this movie was made for $100,000 I have to say it was excellent. Obviously, there were corners cut, but the talent to make this on that kind of budget shows enormous talent.
I hope someone sees this and gives these people a shot at making this or another movie with a real budget. It's a crying shame to see some of the crap that comes out with huge money poured into it that is just wasted, and this happens a lot!
I can see what this movie would have been with money for extras in casting, special effects, and other things required for an action movie. If it was a book, it would have been easy, but the visual medium of movies requires a lot of money, especially is you are telling a story with choreography and action sequences.
Here's hoping someone gives these people a chance!

Not funny, not interesting, and a total waste of talent. Some people have way too much money to waste. There are masses of talented people trying to make movies who will never be funded, and this movie is a slap in the face to all of them.
The cast did a good job of working with the shabby material given to them, except for Bill Murray. Coasting on his success in several deadpan performances, he phones this one in and doesn't even seem to care. Knowing that people would compare this to his performance in Zombieland, you would think he'd at least try to act.
If you picked someone out of the phonebook and asked them to make a movie with this cast and money, it would have been better.
