    A very joyful film!

French cinema (especially comedy-action films) is still indeed very good and I'm very glad for it. Jean Reno is charming as always! He can play any role greatly. We also liked the two actresses playing his daughters. We enjoyed the film a lot!

A generous comical offering from France, which however...

...does not manage to leave a lasting impression after all. Nevertheless, it is not a bad idea going into the film without expecting much.

That way, you get a ''small'' film that is funny all the way, during its 1 hour and half duration. In 90+ minutes, director and actors give their best and they do so very passionately, and effortlessly.

However, if you do not like watching foreign movies and/or reading subtitles you will probably find this film ''noisy'' and tiring. Since all the fun stems from continuous dialogue exchanges between the characters.

Still, the script is effortless with the actors delivering their lines greatly. The characters they portray are lively and sympathetic. Not so realistic, they are however identifiable with due to the grace of the actors and clever direction.

What's missing however from the film is some required action and suspense. You never really worry about the characters' ''future'' in the film; but you do enjoy their presence there, and their mostly trivial ''family'' conflicts.

To sum it all up, this is an enjoyable experience at the theater which stops when end credits begin to roll. Personally, I happen to wish to watch films the stay with you for a while after ''the end'' and that is way I gave it a low score.

My father, with whom I watched the film found my rating a bit harsh and, to be honest, I agree with him! I was harsh. He wasn't; so the film's quality depends heavily on the viewer's point of view, and taste. And their personal expectations.

In very few words, I think this is a so-and-so french comedy that will simply satisfy you, or leave you you wanting something more, as it did with me.

Daddy with his daughters goes to "business" or One-time comedy with Jean Reno

Crime comedy. In search of a good comedy for the evening, I saw this picture with Jean Reno, and decided to evaluate it, especially since I had not seen it on the big screen for a long time, and even in the genre of comedy. I looked - and was somewhat disappointed, and here's my brief opinion - a one-off comedy with Jean Reno. There are both advantages and disadvantages, and now I will tell you about them. Make your tea, sit back, I'll start. So, the advantages: 1. Jean Reno - he is good in almost any role (except for the painting "The Corsican", where even he could not save this sadness with his charisma), and it was he who made me pay attention to this picture. It even seemed to me that I watched it, but that's exactly what it seemed. Jean here attracts everyone's attention, and without his participation I would never have seen this picture. 2. Scene - almost all the main events of the film take place in Courchevel - the famous French ski resort, whose name I learned from the scandal with the Russian oligarch Prokhorov. Mountains, snow, hotels, wooden houses, the richest people in the world, a bunch of guards, the latest surveillance systems, luxurious receptions, expensive brands, gorgeous dresses - all this is he. I don't know if they filmed in real Courchevel, but I believed it was him. 3. Humor - to my surprise, there were no vulgar jokes and frankly disgusting humor. The jokes turned out, if not always funny, then at least funny and not very intrusive. To be honest, I expected the worst. 4. The relationship between the protagonists - the fact is that Jean Reno plays here the role of a swindler who conceived a major robbery, and his own daughters, whom he has never seen, help him in this, and this is what almost all the humor is based on, and the script in the whole. At first, daughters do not take daddy seriously, well, the upbringing of each of them is another reason to be ironic about both dad and half-sister - and it is interesting to watch it. I liked both daughters. So the disadvantages: 1. There is no intrigue - I will explain that in films about robberies there must always be an unexpected turn, which should shock the viewer, as in the cult film How to Steal a Million, for example. Here the scriptwriters tried to do something like this - but in the end they got into a puddle, and could not even properly tell about this attempt. I looked at the picture carefully, trying not to miss a single detail, but in the end - an uninteresting ending, with a hint of a continuation, which will no longer be. 2. Disposability - this picture is able to entertain, and brighten up you only one evening, and is not suitable for re-viewing (unless of course you are not a blogger who wanted to review this movie). There are almost ninety-five percent of such pictures now. I got my portion of pleasure, but I will not watch this movie a second time. A little about the main characters: 1.Patrick played by Jean Reno is a famous swindler and fraudster who takes his own daughters as an assistant to carry out a grand robbery. This results in a series of funny and not very situations. Patrick always calculates his actions, tries not to include emotions and always brings the matter to the end. Jean Reno was great in this role of an overweight dad who is trying to calm down the violent temper of his daughters and at least be a father for a little. Bravo Jean! 2. Angelica Logier performed by Rem Kerisi is a beautiful and charming daughter of Patrick, who must play the role of "fatal beauty", in which she is a real master. Always dissatisfied with everything and prone to hysteria. Rem was gorgeous, and the dresses looked just great on her. Clever Rem! Just smart! 3. Angela Perceval performed by Camille Chamoux is a modest office mouse, in which lives a real genius, the complete opposite of Angelica, which becomes the main reason for jokes. During a robbery, she opens up new horizons in herself, which becomes a revelation both for her and for her family. Camille managed to fully convey the emotions of her heroine, and show the transformation. Clever Camille! I can't say about the budget, because I didn't find the information, but judging by the finale, we were in for a sequel, and given that four years have passed since the film was released, it will not be there. Deserved. As a result, we have an average crime comedy with Jean Reno, a good script, surprisingly good jokes, sound music, not without flaws, and at once, and with great acting work.
