LEGO DC Comics Super Héros : La Ligue des Justiciers - L'Affrontement cosmique

Justice League Cosmic Clash is a movie within DC's Lego universe that has Brainiac and about time travel. It has Brainiac trying to complete his collection of planets, of which brings him into conflict with the Justice League and brings in time travel.

This movie is meant for younger audiences, so obviously it can seem childish at times. It definitely fits the bill for younger audiences, so if you have young kids at home, it is a movie recommended for them.

I find it better than some movies in the DCEU. At times it seems like the Lego universe they're making for young kids makes more sense than the timeline of the DCEU, of which is what tries to appeal to the older audiences.

Overall, I find this movie alright.

Troy Baker seems to be fitting the boots of Kevin Conroy as Batman ("Batman: Arkham City"). James Arnold Taylor was also brilliant in lending his voice as the Flash. The chemistry of Batman and Flash was very nice. Those two really stood out in terms of voice acting. There are laughs for kids especially. Like most Batman movies, it is a tad on the dark side also. The fight scenes were tailor-made for the Justice League and the live action was fun. The graphics were dazzling! Supergirl, as usual, was always whining throughout the movie and was killing the script.

This is how the the disappointing Lego Batman Movie should have been scripted. My significant digit score: 9.2/10

As a decades-long DC fan I love these Lego DC movies. As usual with these there are nods to DC lore and history - plus some nice 'Back to the Future' and 'Star Trek' references as well. The voice acting is spot on, the story's great, and the CGI on the backgrounds is possibly the best in the series. That said, the opening scene of Brainiac attacking a distant planet is difficult to sit through - in the way that Jar Jar Binks is difficult to sit though. The final confrontation too between the heroes and Brainiac is pretty poor. But the scenes of Batman and the Flash time-travelling and their adventures in the different eras trying to locate and recover the missing heroes are fantastic. If the beginning and ending of the film were up to the same standard this would be a 10/10. As it is, those scenes are still strong enough to warrant an 8/10

Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League - Cosmic Clash (2016) is a Lego animated movie with the DC superheroes and it is easily the best Lego DC Comics Super Heroes movie of all time.

Positives for Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League - Cosmic Clash (2016): This movie has the best story of the series which is saying a lot because this series isn't really about giving us great stories, but that is what we get with this movie. I like the idea of having Brainiac come down to Earth and he erases the memories from certain members of the Justice League and then transports them into different timelines. Then, you have Batman traveling to these different timelines, so that he can rescue his fellow Justice League members and get them back to stopping Brainiac. You have Supergirl and other characters fighting off Brainiac and his army with insane stakes for everyone on Earth. The performances from the voice cast are phenomenal and they are giving it their all. This is the movie where the action and comedy are at their very best and it is so brilliant with the execution. And finally, the ending of this movie was phenomenal and it was so unexpectedly hilarious that I found it to be absolutely brilliant.

Overall, Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League - Cosmic Clash (2016) is an instant classic of the modern day superhero movie genre and one of the best Lego movies in the history of cinema.

I was astounded at just how bad Gotham City Breakout (2016) was, it was purile unfunny and seven shades of dumb so I went into this highly sceptical from the get go.

Cosmic Clash sees Brainiac attempting to complete his collection of shrunken planets with Earth and its down to the Justice League to stop him.

Again it's lightweight stuff as you'd expect being lego, some of the humour is very childish but it succeeds in having moments of entertainment and blowing Gotham City Breakout out of the water.

This time also featuring Supergirl who manages somehow to be even more annoying than Cyborg it tells a harmless enough yarn but will still appeal to the younger audience as adult jokes (Even subtle ones) are lacking.
