A movie u can identify with

Finally a movie in which you feel understood and recognized yourself as a Turk in Germany. Everyday problems and prejudices that you have to deal with every day are presented here in a funny story in an amusing way and you notice from the beginning that this film is different. This film also motivated and inspired me because I am also a Hollywood Turk :)

The beste comedi movie ever

Hollywoodtürke is the best comedi movie I have seen in cinemas. Because this movie was so great, I have watched Hollywoodtürke 2 times in the cinema, it's worth it. Very funny movie and with a good message behind it. Respect to the author and the actors.

What a funny, heart-warming Movie. It's fresh and really inspiring, especially when you're an Actor/Filmmaker.

Murat Ünal, the writer, director, producer of this movie couldn't find anyone who would commit to play the lead role due to the low budget of the production, and the time an actor would be blocked as a lead. Unable to find an actor and rather cancel the whole picture he decided to play the lead himself. It marks his first time as an actor. He was so eager to make this movie that he wouldn't let him stop from not finding the right lead. But he had no idea if it would work or not. Letting him only hope he wouldn't make a total fool of himself. He admits he is happy with the result and that it worked out. But during the whole time shooting he wasn't sure and barely never had time to review the dailies due to the very little time and production constraints.
