I can just imagine, that all written reviews are either friends with the producer and actor Murat Ünal or have a REALLY low bar for entertainment. We discovered this movie on Disney+ and it was one of the unfunniest comedies we've ever seen.

I get, that this is an independent movie with not much of a financial backing from a studio, but even with all things considered this movie falls absolutely short of what it's trying to sell. There are so many german comedies that are riddled with cliches and this is the baddest one at this attempt.

And it's unfortunately not the type of "so bad it's funny again". Like really, stay away from this movie.

Finally a movie in which you feel understood and recognized yourself as a Turk in Germany. Everyday problems and prejudices that you have to deal with every day are presented here in a funny story in an amusing way and you notice from the beginning that this film is different. This film also motivated and inspired me because I am also a Hollywood Turk :)

What a funny, heart-warming Movie. It's fresh and really inspiring, especially when you're an Actor/Filmmaker.

I Love the Film the Title , action and the Message behind the Great Story was very Important , because the Younger GENERATION has this Problem every day in his Life the low Budget Film was a Great succes i Hope in the near Future we See a Continue or a new Film Title. Now the Movie Industry in Germany are shaken up a Little Bit ! 🤙🏻

This film is created with much Love and respect for human beings and different cultures. It shows the problems about clishees and how to get over them. Murat Ünal understands how to tell serious themes in a very humorous way. I was impressed and I laughed a lot when I was watching Hollywoodtürke. So I can really recommend this lovely Film!

Hollywoodtürke is the best comedi movie I have seen in cinemas. Because this movie was so great, I have watched Hollywoodtürke 2 times in the cinema, it's worth it. Very funny movie and with a good message behind it. Respect to the author and the actors.

Murat has made his film in a very successful balance between a great and unique humor that makes fun of all the clichés and a special message that is really deep and clear. This great message is very good and understandable as a main part of the film: "Don't bend yourself to achieve something and (de)deceive others, but be yourself and realize your true essence as a gift to the world!" I think, it's really emotional and deep if Alper understand this as his reality in the story of the film. To bring this into a certain balance, some films have already tried, but not managed to implement in the way. Many, many thanks for this - simply ingenious - film experience.
