Similar idea to Taken of Liam Neeson. Basically revenge, child, corruption, taking things into own hands, saving somebody. Meaning good idea or topic, and story. But bad colors, resolution, recording, acting, details, quality, and almost everything. There is too much dark colors, to little things to see because most is recorded from the close up, not showing us greater picture of the environment. Also not good intro, explanation, and outro. Also did not like that there was too much foreign language which makes it difficult or impossible to understand. Bit adventurous and emotional. But still too old. Overally I am not satisfied. I expected better explanation, intro, and more daylight and colors.
This movie is so slow, low budget, and boring, and the acting is so horrible, that is one of the worst movies I've seen in a decade.
Yes that is a pun. But in case you are wondering why Dolph Lundgren is in a movie like this: it's because he has to pay his bills. Medical and otherwise - and this does that. Not to mention that he gets to travel to a country he may not have been in or just enjoy one he has gone before.
I really like Dolph and I have seen worse movies (some of them starring Steven Seagal, who some may compare to Dolph, rightly or not). But I really felt sorry for him in a couple of scenes. He has a certain age and some of the longer shots are not flattering at all. He is not at the point where it looks like slow motion when he runs, but he is not the fastest on his feet anymore either.
Anyway, the action is ok and if you are a fan of his, the paper thin story won't really matter either. Other than that, there is some italian if that is helping the case of the movie - so up to you to decide what you'll make of this.

Dolph Has aged well and is good eye candy, however, this plot needed more.
More you might ask? It needed more storyline, better character development, and some more of something.

Mysterious is not, exciting is not, unpredictable is not, action is not, violence is not, romantic is not. This movie is typically nothing good at any aspects.
