The episode with Iron Chef Jose was a perfect example of inconsistent judging. The judges are sometimes very critical and say a dish is well balanced then they say it needs more seasoning... how does that make common sense?
The Dish Brooke made was in no way the caliber of dish and work that Jose put into his dish. The judge was not sophisticated enough to understand his dish. She should never be a judge again!
Honestly it was embarrassing to see that the judge would be so unintelligent! She was not a good or fair judge. Her expert just went down the tubes in my book. I love Brooke, I love all the Titians, but the game has to be fairly judged.
This is not the only episode that was to disappoint.

I started off enjoying this show when lesser known chefs came to battle. It was believable and judging seemed fair. This season with the add of iron chefs has just become a joke. Chef Simon's episode was beyond insulting when it came to the judging and tonight's episode with Chef Jose was clearly fixed. With all the cooking shows I will be changing channels and finding something else. Really unfortunate as I love watching Michael and Tiffany cook.

The concept is good, but the chefs going against the titans sometimes make better dishes, yet get less points. The random judges have their own preferences, of course. It'd be more interesting, if they changed the titans each season. Who reckoned these chefs to be the titans? Mei Lin beat the titans and won the belt in Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions, so she's more of a titan than any of the titans. Food Network recycles these chefs, getting tired of the same faces. It'd be great to see new chefs enter the scene, which TOC is now trying to do. But, of course, not all chefs want to become TV personalities nor have the time.
Maybe watch if you're bored like I did? The premise is cheesy so I just skip past the intro and pageantry in the beginning. I like cooking comps and found it interesting to see what the chefs did with their ingredients.
The biggest problem is the way they judge the food. There is only 1 judge so it's totally up to their personal bias / preference if they like a dish. Some of the judges are a joke like the episode with Jose Garces (sp?) that everyone has rated so low and is complaining about. Some judges are ok. If they kept the judging blind the entire show, maybe it would be ok but they don't. They reveal the chefs after the first taste. Why?! Sometimes it doesn't matter much but sometimes it makes a huge difference. Like if there a Japanese chef v a "titan". When of the two dishes one is Japanese and one isn't, it's pretty darn clear who made what. I would maybe watch the next season if they fix the judging but after the last episode of season 2, I don't think I would stomach watching another chef getting beaten down by bad judging.

I love the concept but am extremely disappointed in the execution. Bobby distracts the competing chef, while giving his titans hints and help, and the judging is poor, especially tonight. The score between Hosea and Tiffany was just stupid and incompetent.
What happened to showcasing the ingredients? Tiffany totally messed up and was rewarded by this judge! Hosea practically pulled off a miracle and lost. I've watched the show several times now because I've loved Bobby's other shows. Sadly I'm not a fan of this one and very disappointed that it isn't fair. Why the need to cheat and stack the deck?

- Erros de gravaçãoVery poor editing in the first episode. When watching Michael V prep it switches back and forth of him with his apron on and off. (He wasn't doing this, it was the poor editing).
