Shawn Ness was born in Wausau, Wisconsin to David a business manager
and Shirley an LPN. At the age of 5 he moved to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
He attended Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, graduating in 1994.
He spent 3 years total attending 3 different Colleges studying Acting and Radio, TV, Film Communications but left in 1997 to pursue a career as a magician and escape artist. A year later he decided to stop performing magic and concentrate solely on performing escapology after doing a through study on the life of legendary escape artist Harry Houdini.
Since that time Shawn has performed on the same stage as famed television escape artists 'Living Illusions,' whom he has also been a consultant for, as well as the star of the NBC shows 'The Worlds Most Dangerous Magic 1 and 2,' 'Dean Gunnarson'.
