Heads up! This article contains spoilers for "Foundation" season 3, episode 5. It also has spoilers for Isaac Asimov's "Foundation" and "Robot" novels. Proceed with caution!
In "Foundation" season 3, episode 5, Brother Dawn (Cassian Bilton) wakes up from an interstellar jump through space. He sees Gaal Dornick (Lou Llobell) walk up and say, "First few jumps are always strange." She touches him and adds, "You're not cold. It just feels like it. But ... It's gonna feel like you left a bit of yourself behind, and it's trying to catch up with you. But it will, eventually."
The line is easy to miss in the midst of the Second Foundation drama unfolding in the show, but there are a lot of points in this Apple TV+ adaptation where the writers manage to sneak in subtle nods to the source material. In this case, the references to things like feeling cold and leaving some...

In the ending of Wednesday season 2, episode 3, the titular character, while investigating the serial murders in town, came across a name, Lois, written in bold red letters on the top of ex-Sheriff Donovan Galpin’s evidence board. [Spoiler Alert] Before his death, Donovan had told Wednesday that he and his friend, Carl Bradbury, had been working on a case together. But what was this case about? Well, it turned out Donovan had gathered some evidence about the secret experiments inside the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, and he didn’t want his son, Tyler, to become a victim of the evil scientist running the place. Donovan had collected obituaries of the Outcast, or people with superhuman abilities; however, upon further investigation, Wednesday figured out that their graves, or “urns,” were filled with the remains of “normie” humans, which meant only one thing: all these people on Donovan’s evidence board weren’t dead,...

The music world just lost one of its most respected voices. Terry Reid, the powerhouse vocalist known as “Superlungs,” passed away on August 4, 2025, at age 75, following a battle with cancer that forced him to cancel his 2025 European tour.
While he’s famous for turning down Led Zeppelin, Reid’s actual career was packed with incredible achievements that earned him praise from legends like Aretha Franklin and secured his place in rock history.
From writing hit songs as a teenager to performing at celebrities’ weddings, Reid proved that sometimes the most interesting stories come from those who forge their own path. His death marks the end of an era for rock’s most underappreciated talents.

Rolling Stone named Beyoncé’s “Formation” the greatest music video of all time in 2021. But when it comes to the most influential, first place can arguably go to a clip that isn’t even a proper music video — and was shot in black & white 60 years ago.
Last week, Margo Price released a jaunty new single, “Don’t Wake Me Up,” accompanied by a video in which she holds up white cards with snippets of lyrics — among them, “cow pasture cemetery,” “honky tonk leaky tent,” “dive bar,” “madness” — as the song plays.

As the title itself implies, Berserk is about rage, and not just a specific kind of rage. In an interview, published in September 2000, author Kentaro Miura shared that he always wanted to highlight rage in his series, and it was the central focus. Guts, the protagonist of Berserk, is full of anger because of the endless torture that he goes through.
Born out of a corpse, he was se*ually assaulted by Donovan at a young age. He does take his revenge, but that type of scar remains throughout life. It was his adoptive father who had sold him to Donovan. Years later, when he was finally able to fall in love, he was forced to watch his best friend violate his lover. Every bad thing that can happen to a human has happened to Guts. How can such a character not contain rage?

“Entertainment Tonight” has pulled out of its vaults several minutes of previously unseen behind-the-scenes “Clueless” footage, showcasing Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy, Breckin Meyer, Stacey Dash, Donald Faison, director Amy Heckerling, and the rest of the team. In the last month, many involved with the production have appeared at 30th anniversary events, heralding the indelible mark left by the high school classic on pop culture.
The clips include one-on-one interviews with the cast members, many of whom were teenagers at the time, describing their characters. In one segment, Meyer reveals that he was familiar with being a high school student in Beverly Hills — even though the movie’s fictional Bronson Alcott High School was actually played by Occidental College in nearby Eagle Rock.

Joe Marinelli, the veteran character actor who amused and attracted admirers as the cross-dressing mobster Bunny Tagliatti on the NBC soap opera Santa Barbara, has died. He was 68.
Marinelli died Sunday in Burbank after a battle with stomach cancer, his wife of nearly 34 years, musician Jean Marinelli, told The Hollywood Reporter. She said they never had a fight.
After playing Bernardo “Bunny” Tagliatti from 1988-90, Marinelli portrayed bank robber Pauly Hardman on the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light in 1993 and another crook, Joseph Sorel, on the ABC soap General Hospital from 1999-2001.
More recently, he recurred as Uba director Donny Spagnoli on the first three seasons of the Apple TV+ drama The Morning Show.
“I really loved him and what he stood for,” Mark Duplass, who plays Tms executive producer Chip Black on the show, said in a statement. “We didn’t spend 10,000 hours together, but we were spiritually aligned in many ways.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal fans are frustrated at no scenes with Shane and Andrew Donovan in them together recently.
Both were back in Salem through the search for, injury of and death and funeral of John Black (Drake Hogestyn), why no father and son scenes?
Andrew And Paul Are Getting Married
In spite of, or perhaps because of Paul Narita’s (Christopher Sean) father’s death, Andrew decided this was the time to propose marriage, and Paul accepted. Now there will be a wedding planned, and most certainly certain family members will be expected to be there.
Paul may have wanted John to be a best man, but obviously that cannot happen now-more than likely, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will step up in John’s place.

If you had asked me a couple of years back which import of American network television I imagined being used as a template for multiple adaptations and remakes, the Ann Bidermann-created seven-season Showtime drama “Ray Donovan” wouldn’t have been anywhere near the vicinity of that imagination. That could be accounted for by the show’s general mediocrity of quality, which coasted primarily on the performances of the central cast and a killer premise that can generate storylines for multiple seasons, but not necessarily compelling ones.
If examined further, the central issue of the source, which is also being extended to its official remake, “Rana Naidu,” is in its evocation of “The Sopranos” ethos—the professional world against the personal dilemma. “Ray Donovan,” and to that end Rana Naidu’s first season’s misstep, is in its expectation that its personal subplots are similar or more compelling than the central plot thread,...

Could anyone really forget about Clueless, even three decades after its debut? As if!
Alicia Silverstone and writer-director Amy Heckerling joined costars and crew at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures screening of Clueless on Saturday, marking the 30th anniversary of the iconic film’s July 1995 release — but it was Silverstone’s costars Breckin Meyer and Elisa Donovan who shared the biggest bombshells of the night.
Meyer, who portrayed laid-back skateboarder Travis Birkenstock, was eager to work with Heckerling, having been a fan of her earlier films such as Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Johnny Dangerously, and Look Who’s Talking. He also recalled some of the other actors who auditioned for the role.
“All the other guys I knew — Seth Green, Jeremy Renner, and all these cats — were auditioning for it,” Meyer said.

“Echo Valley” (2025) is a competently shot, well-acted thriller that presents an intriguing ethical conundrum, but stumbles in its attempt to address it. At its core, the film presents a simple question about the lengths that parents would go for their children, and whether unfettered affection is always the best course of action. Despite some handsome visuals and a sincere attempt to examine issues like domestic violence and addiction, “Echo Valley” isn’t quite twisty enough to be an edgy mystery, and not focused enough to be a legitimate drama.
“Echo Valley” follows the horse trainer Kate Garrett (Julianne Moore), who has remained relatively secluded in the wake of a personal tragedy. Kate has struggled to pay the bills required to maintain her land, and while she seeks assistance from her wealthy ex-husband (Kyle MacLachlan), it’s made clear to her that no one is willing to invest in her future.

Pair stars like Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney, add BAFTA-winning director Michael Pearce and a top screenwriter of, among others, the Emmy-winning Mare of Easttown in Brad Ingelsby and major producers including Ridley Scott and it is not a surprise that they have collectively cooked up one barnburner of a thriller. And the “barnburner” part you can take literally.
It is called Echo Valley and will begin streaming on Apple TV+ on June 13, but this could do well in theaters (it supposedly will play in a select few). Nevertheless, it is gripping stuff no matter how you find it.
Moore, in fine form, plays Kate, divorced and now estranged from her ex-husband Richard and grieving the loss of her wife, also has to deal with an on-and-off relationship with volatile daughter Claire (Sydney Sweeney), who is running with the wrong crowd and hopelessly addicted to drugs.

[The following story contains spoilers from the Prime Video limited series The Better Sister.]
When the execs at production company Tomorrow Studios were talking to people about producing a TV adaptation of Alafair Burke’s The Better Sister, they would ask prospective partners after reading the first episode who they thought was behind the story’s central murder mystery of who killed Adam Macintosh, played in the Prime Video limited series by Corey Stoll.
“People had different answers,” Tomorrow Studios president and Better Sister executive producer Becky Clements told The Hollywood Reporter at The Better Sister‘s New York premiere last month. “And for us that was perfect, because you wouldn’t be able to predict.”
Even the Better Sister actors were surprised when they learned who did it, despite helping to realize the narrative.

First, we got an extended look at Wednesday season 2 near the end of Netflix Tudum Live 2025, and one thing is clear: The new season is going to be dark. Really dark, but it's also going to be a lot of creepy fun.
Plus, we didn't just get to see a bunch of Wednesday scenes, but it was also confirmed that Lady Gaga would be part of the cast. Then, the divine one herself came out and did not just one song, but a handful. She was magical as she always is (though the "abracadabra" is likely to haunt you for some time to come).
The entire Tudum event was worth it. We saw a bunch of new trailers drop, such as Frankenstein, Happy Gilmore 2, One Piece 2, and Stranger Things. Every one of them appears to be a banger, and we cannot wait for the releases.

“Soylent Green” is a 1973 movie from the director Richard Fleischer starring big names like Charlton Heston, Leigh Taylor-Young, Chuck Connors, Joseph Cotten, Brock Peters, Paula Kelly, and more. “Soylent Green” is set in a bleak and troubling future. While it may not be a full-fledged dystopia, it certainly borders on one. Due to overexploitation, global warming, and unchecked human greed, Earth’s natural food resources have been severely depleted. Power is scarce, clean water is rare, and the comforts and luxuries people once took for granted are now relics of the past.
The story takes place in New York City, which astonishingly holds a population of 40 million. With such overwhelming numbers, society is divided into two starkly contrasting classes: the wealthy elite and the struggling poor. The rich live in a heavily guarded, walled-off enclave, protected by high fences and armed guards authorized to shoot trespassers. Inside this privileged society,...

Under the neon glare of Miami’s art world—and beneath its opulence—Forge invites viewers into the intricate dance of deception. Jing Ai Ng’s first feature, unveiled at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival, traces the daring path of Coco and Raymond Zhang, Chinese American siblings whose exquisite forgeries bankroll a precarious existence. As Forge unfolds, it channels the moral complexity of Bollywood capers—where family loyalty and personal ambition tangle in equal measure—and raises questions of belonging, artifice and self‑definition in a globalized age. This section will explore how...
