I don't think that just because something doesn't hit you in the face
with outright violence or a controversy that it is any less valuable. I
think that there is a niche for this kind of programming, and if you do
it well, it deserves as much merit as anything else. People are too
afraid that they liked it. It's like if they admitted liking Road to
Avonlea, it was like admitting somewhere inside you're a marshmallow.
