Apple TV+'s comedy drama Shrinking has just added a brand-new cast member. The series, which boasts stunning reviews, has Jason Segel and Harrison Ford as the leads.

The five-time Emmy-winning actor Michael J. Fox had retired from acting since his latest appearance on The Good Fight in 2020, where he reprised his character, attorney Louis Canning, from The Good Wife. The actor has continued to be active, despite battling Parkinson's for three and a half decades, being a big part of his foundation, and constantly attending Back to the Future reunions. Now, he will have a new reunion with Spin City creator, Bill Lawrence, as Deadline reports Michael J. Fox joined Lawrence's hit series Shrinking for Season 3.

Details around Fox's character are still kept under wraps, but he has officially joined the series with a "major guest-starring role." However, his new character might be tied to the character arc of Ford’s Paul Rhoades.

Two more stars are relocating to Music City.

Singer LeAnn Rimes and actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Nashville, According to Jim) have joined the cast of 9-1-1: Nashville, our sister site Variety reports. No details are currently available about their characters.

This week, Sony’s Until Dawn opened with soft numbers at the box office, mere days after Ryan Coogler’s Sinners broke records. Inspired by the video game of the same name, Until Dawn is directed by horror specialist David F. Sandberg, who’d been focused on the now-defunct DC Extended Universe for a few years.

With $8 million domestically in its first three days of release and another $10 million from overseas markets, Until Dawn’s global box office debut stands at $18 million. Fortunately, the movie didn’t cost all that much to produce.

Talk about following a tough act. Sony's Until Dawn opened this week, days after Ryan Coogler's Sinners defied horror movie expectations both critically and commercially. The third season of “Shrinking” has added both Sherry Cola and Isabella Gomez to its cast.

Variety has learned that both Cola and Gomez will appear in Season 3 of the Apple TV+ dramedy in recurring roles. They join fellow new Season 3 cast member Jeff Daniels as well as returning stars Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Christa Miller, Emmy Award nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley.

“Shrinking” Season 2 launched in October and concluded in December. Both Segel and Williams have received Emmy Award nominations for the show’s first season.

Per the official logline, the show “follows grieving therapist Jimmy (Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.”

In a first for daytime television, soap star Heather Tom will act in an upcoming episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” that she also wrote and directed.

The episode is said to be timed to Women’s History Month, which celebrates the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society, and is set to air Thursday, March 27.

Loosely inspired by Israileff’s experiences, Behind the Eight-Ball follows Trevor (Rosenmeyer) a high-functioning cocaine addict whose spiraling substance abuse threatens his career and closest relationships – forcing him to confront his demons and fight for redemption as his life unravels around him.

Says the filmmaker, “The film is a ‘love letter’ to functional addicts who are afraid to speak up or admit embarrassment for their ongoing issues, letting them know they are not alone and the depression they feel is felt by many.”

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Mesure’s Final Airdate Was January 30th

Gh has already hired One Life To Live and The Young and the Restless vet Chris McKenna. Mesure has become very popular with the fans, and it’s a significant blow to the show as Brennan’s romance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is heating up.

Mesure’s final air date has already occurred, as we saw on January 30th, last Thursday, when Brennan and Carly had their rooftop date in Germany after sharing their first kiss. McKenna debuts in the role tomorrow, February 4th.

Brennan came to Port Charles in December 2023 as a villain on a mission to end Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

He was the head of the Wsb and the frontrunner of Pikeman Security Group.

General Hospital recast the role of Brennan. Charles Mesure is out, and actor Chris McKenna will take over the role. This move comes as a surprise, considering how well-liked Mesure is in the role of Brennan.

Soap Opera Digest reported the Gh casting news. “Charles Mesure opted to exit the role of Brennan. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” a Gh spokesperson told the outlet.

Mesure debuted as Jack Brennan on December 1, 2023, and he’s portrayed the character ever since. Thursday, January 30 was Measure’s last airdate. Soap veteran Chris McKenna takes over the role. His first airdate is Tuesday, February 4.

It’s unclear what’s next for Mesure. In the past few years, he’s had small appearances in the television series We Have Many Skills, Below Deck Deceipt, and Gotham Knights.
