It's not surprising that like everything she/they do Mindy Kaling and Ike Barinholtz made such a nice show!

Great fun.

I recommend it for anyone wanting to watch something funny and light on Netflix.

Why do reviews have to be so long?!

I genuinely don't understand the bad reviews, this is definitely worth a watch.

I wasn't sure this would be my sort of show as I really don't have any interest in sports but I thought this was really good!

I liked the cast and story line.

I "laughed out loud" on more than one occasion.

I'm really looking forward to season 2.

I recently watched Running Point and have to say it's a pretty good show. I'm a huge basketball fan but even if you're not you should enjoy this show because basketball is only a small part of it. Kate Hudson, who hasn't aged a day in the 20+ years, leads a stellar cast of Justin Theroux, Scott MacArthur, Drew Tarver, Brenda Song, Colin Hanks, etc. And they're all on top of their game here. This isn't going to be the best show you watch this year but it'll be one you'll be glad you watched. I'm already looking forward to next season.

Running Point draws clear parallels to Ted Lasso, placing Kate Hudson's Isla Gordon, a socialite turned team owner, in a similar fish-out-of-water scenario. While the show delivers consistent humor and a feel-good vibe, it doesn't quite match Ted Lasso's emotional depth-BUT, it's still a great show. Supporting characters, are good and played by really funny actors. Altogether, the exploration of family dynamics and leadership challenges has some relatable moments. It's an enjoyable, lighthearted watch, and I give it a 8/10 for easily engaging entertainment. Basically, it's a solid, undemanding binge. You'll probably chuckle, and it's perfect for when you just want to switch off your brain for a few hours.

Liked it. Didn't expect to, but I did actually. Binged it in about three separate sessions. I tried it for Kate Hudson cause I saw her on Graham Norton talking about it and I thought I'd give it a try. It is surprisingly entertaining and doesn't feel forced and unnatural. Which is quite rare for most comedy series these days. Very few good ones and even fewer on Netflix sadly.

I liked the character dynamics and the twisted relationships and here and there you can even find a little bit of depth. I hope they don't mess it up in the next season.
