Sara Haden(1898-1981)

Character actress, who specialized in grumpy, dour spinster aunts, tough schoolmarms and the like. At MGM in the 1930s, she reprised these characterizations in 15 films over a two-year period. Best known as Mickey Rooney's Aunt Millie in the Andy Hardy series and for being Shirley Temple's nasty truancy officer in Capitan Gennaio (1936).
