This is a kind of a pot with a story, that needed to be enriched, and then got so full that it didn't know which way to take. It made me really confused. Is it a story about a doctor, or about ghosts? Or perhaps just relationships... or violence? Or mental illness? There's so many stories in the story that really doesn't belong there, they just appear and then disappear without any resolution.
The views are fantastic and Icelandic storytelling is always interesting but here they get a bit lost. Too much effort, they should have made it more simple or focused on just a few threads.

Vitjanir (Ftractures)
Not much by way of laughs in this. There is no real core story, its just a soap featuring a lot of clichéd storylines and characters suffering from various mental conditions; the borderline dementia clairvoyant, the borderline witch herbalist, the abusive father and husband, the adolescents passing STD around, swingers, the alcoholic and the borderline nymphomaniac doctor, et al.
We also have the now mandatory same sex relationship x2.
It really all got a bit weird in episodes 3 and 4 and I can't say that any of the storylines are particularly interesting.
It briefly picked up towards the end of episode 7 It is probably best described as quirky, but it does make one wonder about rural life in Iceland; they all seem to be related to one another in one way or other.
No reflection on the acting, they just didn't have much to work with.
