Well, I had thought I had seen it all until I saw 4F. Basically what must have happened is a bunch of guys got real drunk one night and were adlibbing to some crappy asian wrestling movie they were watching on the international channel. Someone decided to record it, and hence you get this movie. Some of the lines in this mockfest will make you laugh to the point of tears. The movie features a butt kickin martial arts master who talks like King Elvis Presley, and who can only count to three. He takes on such titanic forces such as the "big ugly guys", and who can forget the ebonically adept snake n the bath tub....."you been wipin your *ss with that dirty *ss rag". This movie isn't even to be explained, just rent it and I guarantee you won't regret it.
Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters (1982) was a project that Charles Kaufman and the L.A. Connection worked on. Troma bought the rights to a real bad Indonesian action film (shot in Panavision) and re-dubbed it. They made a terrible movie watchable, but it's filled with very juvenile and dated material. But that doesn't mean it's not watchable.
The plot is (F.F.F.F) is about a female wrestler (Bambi)who's sick brother needs an emergency operation. To get the money fast, she signs up with a shady wrestling organization (even though she was courted by a rival promoter). During her training she meets Barney (a man who talks and fights like Elvis) and tries to woo her throughout the movie. Like I said, the movie's humor is very juvenile and adult but if you're into Troma films then you'll dig this one big time. What will happen to Bambi? Will her little brother get that operation? Can Barney sweep her off of her feet? You'll have to find out for yourself!
Highly recommended.

And I'm thinking of MST3K and Joe-Bob Briggs. How they would love this movie! Yes, it's really, REALLY bad. I think even Joe-Bob would NOT put this movie on his top 10 list. But, somehow, it grabs you.
If you like a lot of moaning, groaning, grunting, screaming, squealing, shrieking women, then you'll love this movie. It appears to be a lame attempt at soft-core porn, without the flesh.
Like female wrestling? You'll love this movie.
Like proto-Bruce Lee martial arts? You'll love this movie.
Like trying to lip-read the actors' lines? You'll love this movie.
The only thing missing is Adrienne Barbeau (sp?)
I'd recommend being in a "certain state of mind" before watching this flick. But, if you do, I guarantee that you'll have a night to remember!
It's like Woody Allen's "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" without the cachet of Woody Allen!
I give it a 10 simply for its awfulness, and yet...sooooo hypnotic....

Two women are wrestling, each pronouncing "Uganda" differently, and arguing over it. This is like watching a Rifftrax or MST3K episode with the original dialog completely removed.
Being a Troma film, I had little to no expectations on this. But this time, none of the filming was done by them. So no sped-up Benny Hill-style footage, a bunch of people piling into an apartment and having a party, just an Indonesian action film.
This film pleasantly surprised me. The comedy writing is REALLY sharply written, reminding me all too many of the jokes of MST3K or Rifftrax. "Surf Nazis Must Die" was mentioned, so the original film was in 1982, but this was re-dubbed after 1987.
The audible magic doesn't end there. In one scene, a woman is walking around in an office, but with added sloshing sounds to give the illusion that there's standing water. Electromechanical pinball sounds are playing for no reason during a match.
Just watch it. It's a pleasant surprise from Troma.

Female wrestler Bambi (Eva Arnaz) wants to give up the sport but must continue to fight in order to raise enough cash for her younger brother's corrective surgery (when he gets aroused his sperm goes to his brain). Barry Prima also stars as a fighter, Barney, who befriends Bambi and helps her to defeat some bad guys.
Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters is an Indonesian action flick (original title: Perempuan Bergairah AKA The Fighters), re-dubbed in English by those wags at Troma, who alter the story-line slightly and make the characters say the most asinine things in really dumb voices. With extremely puerile humour, childish sound effects (including burps and farts), and gags about bodily functions, the whole mess becomes tiresome very quickly.
Really bad, even by Troma standards, I'd have preferred to have seen the film as it was originally intended: it couldn't be any worse.

- WissenswertesOriginally a straightforward Indonesian martial arts film titled Perempuan Bergairah that was unusually produced in the English language. When Charles Kaufman received the film for distribution, he wrote all new, humorous dialogue for the film and rerecorded all the lines, adding plenty of bathroom humor, bad Kung-Fu grunts, corny jokes, and ludicrous accents (including an Elvis Presley voice for the film's Asian protagonist).

Elvis: [while skipping rope] E is for Elvis. K is for King. G is for Graceland. S is for sing.
- Alternative VersionenThe 1996 UK video version was cut by 21 seconds by the BBFC to remove: Close up shot of a knuckle duster, Close Up shots of a throwing star in man's hand and embedded in victim's neck, shot of man holding a throwing star, Close up shots of an arm being broken.
