One of the Good Ones

What a great story. Addiction has no mercy. My girlfriend turned this on and I just couldn't stop watching. I would highly recommend this movie. We all know someone with mental health issues so it will likely hit a soft spot.

The film attempts to tackle important themes, but unfortunately, it falls short in execution. The narrative feels disjointed and overly reliant on clichés, which undermines its emotional impact. Character development is weak; the protagonists often come off as one-dimensional, making it difficult to invest in their journeys.

Moreover, the pacing is uneven, with certain scenes dragging on while others feel rushed. The dialogue lacks authenticity, often feeling forced and unnatural, which detracts from the overall experience. While the film has a commendable message, it fails to deliver it in a way that feels fresh or engaging. Ultimately, it is a missed opportunity that leaves viewers wanting a deeper exploration of its themes.

The writing is outstanding! Super acting, I don't know much about acting but they were completely adorbz but I do know a lil' bit about writing since I have written many many many stories and this was a whirlwind that I just blew me away at every turn, it did its job in such a stylistic but truly seminal way! The beginning the middle had a really beautiful scene and the end, when he says to her even if its not with me you really have something to offer just give it someone , I'm like I have never heard that and it really feels like this character would say this and its so heart warming and it sets up the ending in such a fantastic way plus closes the burning thematic questions whether we are good or not or even capable of leaving our selfish self enough to even conceive being good! And its all part of the self-reproach and self-recrimination of the addictive mind but really its universal , totally befits the whole spectrum of our human condition excellent job! Superb! Thank-you!

This is one of the best movies I watched this year. The story & the acting and also the music is just perfect. I hope Jesy McKinney Writes another movie!

I really love the place it takes in, i love how the film was made which is cool! This movie made me turn emotional in some parts, and also love filter you guys used for this movie. Me personally I feel like this movie really needs to be seen like literally. This movie was so good man, I can't explain it! Just maybe one day jesy would write another movie. I can't wait for more movies coming to the out!
