The Muny has announced the full cast for its production of Jersey Boys, which closes the 107th season of musicals on the James S. McDonnell Stage in Forest Park. The 4400‘s superpowered days are over: The CW has cancelled the reboot after just one season, TVLine has learned.

The network also axed Legacies, Dynasty, Charmed, Naomi, In the Dark and Roswell, New Mexico on Thursday. They join the previously cancelled dramas Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow.

An intense penultimate episode -- directed by Scott Peters, co-creator of the original The 4400 series -- leaves us with plenty to look forward to for the season finale.

On 4400 Season 1 Episode 12, the Rev’s fate remains a mystery, and dark forces threaten our characters at every turn.

But, as always, there were also moments of light. A central theme of this episode was sibling relationships -- love, loyalty, and betrayal.

The focus on Mildred’s past brought to light her relationship with her sister, Millicent, and the life from which they both were taken.

Abandoned by their mother at a young age, the two Millies were left to be raised in a commune with a creepy leader.

As Caleb, Flueger has that gentle hippie vibe down, with a pervy, power-hungry undertone that makes him utterly hateable.

To protect her little sister, Millicent agrees to stay,...

That was a dramatic midseason finale!

On 4400 Season 1 Episode 8, loyalties were cemented, wrongs were avenged, and in between, we got some we got much-needed tender moments.

The most epic scene of the episode came at the hands of Mildred, back for blood. She wasted no time showing Bill Greene she means business and wants revenge. She would have killed him had the Reverend not pulled her back. 

Millie's experience at Ypsi Med has changed her. She's hardened, colder, and more ruthless. She still has that sweetness in her, which we saw when she said goodbye to Hayden after the breakout, but it's hidden underneath that need for justice.

The CW has released a full, 90-second trailer for the forthcoming reboot, and it looks like a compelling new drama.

The series follows 4,400 overlooked, undervalued, or otherwise marginalized people who vanished without a trace over the last hundred years and are all returned in an instant, having not aged a day and with no memory of what happened to them.

“As the government races to analyze the potential threat and contain the story, the 4400 themselves must grapple with the fact that they’ve been returned with a few… upgrades,” the project's description reads.

“And the increasing likelihood that they were all brought back now for a specific reason.”

The script was written by executive producer Ariana Jackson.

When 4400 missing persons suddenly reappear with no explanation, extraterrestrials become the prime suspect for what’s behind it all in TVLine’s exclusive trailer for The CW’s reboot of the former USA Network series.
