The lead actor Seems to ne the worst actor of the Bunch. Can't even make a sentence without studdering 5-6 Times in a 3 words sentence. And... It's not a knock on studdering people... IT would actually be better if he would!
Suppose to be this hotshot army Guy and Ranger, but somewhat dim wit with a bad temper. Makes you want to slap him a Little or a lot.
Family around, all good... But why all the crap things are always directed at Them?! Is There no other people in Austin?
Somewhat entertaining but de really would appreciate caracters with Higher I. Q.
To me, His collegues and long Time friend make the show.

First off, I'm a big fan of Jared's, and was looking forward to seeing him in a new show. I never watched the original Walker much, as it was a little to cheesy for my taste, but I've always loved Chuck Norris.
Anyway, this show is very different from the original. I think a remake has a right to break new ground or change itself a bit. After all, that's kind of the point of a remake. However, in this case, the whole ranger/crime-solving aspect of the show takes a total back seat to all the family drama. It's basically a soap opera. There's very little action, too.
And as much as I hate to say it, much of the criticism of Jared's acting is accurate. He's an insecure, stuttering mess most of the time, unsure of what to do, but of course his strong female partner is always there to save the day. I wish they'd portray him as strong, confident, and sure of himself.
I watched the first couple of seasons, but I just couldn't stick with it any longer. It's worth checking out, but just don't be expecting a good action show, because this definitely isn't it.

I want to like this show more. I love the cast. But I'd like to see real story lines where there's crimes to solve and justice for breaking the law that DOESN'T involve the entire family CONSTANTLY being the center of danger and kidnappings and suspicions of being criminals themselves... Come on now. This show could be amazing if the family could stop being targets. Give the characters a story line where they are real people with real problems and let the rangers solve non-personal crimes. I keep watching it hoping it'll get better. If they changed the writing, this show could stay on for many years.
The show is finding its footing. It *is* more of a family melodrama than anything else, so if you go into it with that understanding, you can just sit back and enjoy the ride. Great scenery, appealing actors. I wish it had a little more grit to it, though. True grit.
I enjoyed watching the original Walker as a kid. I started watching this reboot because of Jared. It has had a couple of slow moments , but over all is a great show. Season two has done somethings I was really hoping for. I won't spoil it.
I'm hoping the show will take a more positive playful spin atleast in small moments.
I'm glad it has been renewed for a third season.
