14 Failed Nepo Babies Who Were Born on Third Base and Couldn’t Hit a Triple

To be fair, I’d probably lose my job and disappoint my father if I set out to write a “celebration of fly white boys who love beautiful queens of every race,” too.

14 Tom Hanks’ Failson

Tragically, the “scared straight”-style wilderness intervention he was subjected to as a teen didn’t take, and Chet Hanks has achieved only infamy in his decades-long struggle for pop-culture relevance. His song “White Boy Summer” is the closest he’s gotten so far, but the intended “celebration of fly white boys who love beautiful queens of every race” has turned into more of a white privilege/white pride anthem.

Eva Amurri Details ‘Great’ Experience with Breast Reduction & Lift
Image
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Eva Amurri is an actress, an influencer, and a nepo baby.

Until very recently, she was the bearer of cup size 32F breasts that she felt were dragging her down. Metaphorically. Mostly metaphorically.

Very recently, she underwent surgery to reduce her breast size and to give them a lift.

Now, she’s updating fans on the experience. But you’ll have to bear with her — recovering from surgery can make you a little loopy.

Hollywood Flashback: 15 Years Ago, Jesse Eisenberg and Sebastian Stan Starred in Fred Durst’s First Film
Image
Long before Jesse Eisenberg and Sebastian Stan both earned 2025 Golden Globe Awards nominations, the pair appeared together in an indie coming-of-age drama that marked the directorial debut of rocker Fred Durst.

The Education of Charlie Banks hit theaters in 2009 starring Eisenberg as Charlie, an Ivy League freshman who is troubled when high school bully Mick (Jason Ritter) mysteriously resurfaces and inserts himself into Charlie’s life in upstate New York.

Filmmaker Peter Care (The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys) was initially attached to direct Peter Elkoff’s script, which was based on the writer’s autobiographical experiences. Ultimately landing in the director’s chair was Durst, who had become an MTV fixture in the late 1990s as the frontman for rap-metal band Limp Bizkit. Durst has cited Matt Dillon’s role in the 1980 feature My Bodyguard as an inspiration for The Education of Charlie Banks, which co-stars Stan as Charlie’s charming college buddy Leo,...

Susan Sarandon’s Daughter, Eva Amurri, Defends Choice Of Revealing Wedding Dress Amid Criticism
Image
Actress and lifestyle blogger Eva Amurri, daughter of Susan Sarandon, has responded to critics of her wedding dress, defending her choice of a strapless gown with a plunging neckline.

Amurri, 39, married chef Ian Hock on June 29 in New York’s Hudson Valley. The intimate ceremony, attended by about 40 guests, including Sarandon and her former partner Tim Robbins, took place at Windrift Hall despite rainy weather.

Following the nuptials, Amurri shared photos on Instagram showcasing her Kim Kassas-designed dress, which featured a corset-style bodice. Some followers expressed disapproval of the revealing nature of the gown, prompting Amurri to address the criticism directly.

“To anyone scandalized by my breasts not being ‘put away,'” Amurri wrote on her Instagram Story, accompanying a close-up image of her dress’s neckline. She invited critics to “screenshot this for later,” indicating her unapologetic stance on her fashion choice.

In an interview with Us Weekly prior to the wedding,...

Saved! at 20: Director Brian Dannelly Reflects on His Teenage Christian Comedy and Plans for a Sequel
Image
It might be too on-the-nose to call Saved! a minor miracle of a movie, but how else would you describe Brian Dannelly’s faith-centric satire? Since it was released in arthouses and multiplexes 20 years ago this week, it’s remained one of the few teenage comedies brave enough to explore and critique the contemporary Christian high school experience without relying on broad fundamentalist humor, cheap caricatures, or treacly after-school messaging. Within modern Hollywood, it felt––and still feels––like a true outlier, a nuanced slice of religious life with a surprisingly deep roster of young indie talents that its creator still can’t believe was even made.

Set at a Christian high school, Saved! stars Jena Malone as 17-year-old Mary, a born-again believer who offers up her virginity to convert her gay boyfriend Dean (Chad Faust). The plan ultimately fails––Dean is sent to conversion therapy and Mary gets pregnant,...

Actors You Forgot Appeared in Friends
Image
Friends is arguably the most successful sitcom in history. The series ran for ten seasons throughout the 90s and 2000s as the audience fell in love with the six main characters. Because of its outstanding fame, the show is known for its wide cast of characters, which often includes some of the most famous and beloved celebrities of the time.

However, it's impossible to keep track of every actor and actress that ever appeared in Friends. Even though all of these guest stars were iconic, they often only appeared in one episode or even just for a couple of minutes, so people tend to forget they were even there in the first place. Yet, that doesn't mean their appearance on the show wasn't memorable.

Which Movie Holds Up as Susan Sarandon's Best Work?
Image
Susan Sarandon's best film is argued to be Bull Durham from 1988, where she delivers a captivating performance as Annie Savoy. "Bull Durham" is a quintessential baseball movie, evoking the magic of a small-town ballpark and featuring a strong ensemble cast. Sarandon's chemistry with Kevin Costner in the film is electric, and her portrayal of Annie showcases her talent for being sexy, funny, and powerful simultaneously.

One of the most interesting actors of her generation, Susan Sarandon, has been in so many blockbusters that it is hard to even keep count. Even now, she is making quality movies that people are clamoring to see. However, the debate rages as to which is her best film.

Even as she continues to leave her mark on Hollywood, her early work may be the best representation of her star power. One of her forgotten movies, Bull Durham, is still her best.

Priscilla Presley Files Paperwork Objecting To Lisa Marie Presley Trust Naming Riley Keough Co-Trustee
Image
Priscilla Presley is contesting “the authenticity and validity” of a “purported 2016 amendment” to Lisa Marie Presley‘s trust naming Riley Keough a co-trustee, claiming “there are many issues surrounding” it and, therefore, the judge should declare the amendment invalid.

According to court documents, obtained by Et, Priscilla filed legal documents Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court challenging the 2016 amendment that named Lisa Marie’s children — Riley and Benjamin Keough — as co-trustees. In the docs, Priscilla claims she and Lisa Marie’s former business manager, Barry Siegel, were appointed co-trustees on Jan. 29, 1993 when Lisa Marie “executed a revocable living trust, which she amended and completely restated on Jan. 27, 2010.” Priscilla added “both the 1993 original trust and 2010 restatement appear to be carefully drafted by competent estate planning attorneys.”

Susan Sarandon Reacts To Daughter Eva Amurri Calling Her Upbringing A ‘Circus’ (Exclusive)
Image
Susan Sarandon is opening up about her parenting style. The same month that Sarandon’s daughter, Eva Amurri, described her upbringing as “a circus,” the 76-year-old actress responded to the claim in an interview with Et’s Matt Cohen.

Amurri, 37, made her statement on TikTok, explaining, “People in the industry, who grew up in the industry, sometimes liken the experience to growing up in the circus.”

“You kind of spend these really surreal periods of time really closely intertwined with other people… You become so, so close almost like family. And then one of the things that’s really disorienting about the acting world is then, when the project is done, a lot of times everyone just goes their separate ways and you kind of just disappear back into real life,” she said. “It can be really sad sometimes… It’s always a unique experience to grow up that way.

Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins, Anna Friel, and Rachel Ann Kearns in Monarch (2022)
Fox Cancels ‘Monarch’ After Just One Season
Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins, Anna Friel, and Rachel Ann Kearns in Monarch (2022)
It was a short-lived run for the Romans’ country music dynasty, as Fox has canceled Monarch after just one season. As reported by Deadline, Monarch will not be returning for a second season. The show had gone through a number of changes since it was originally filmed during the pandemic. Initially, it was set for a January 2022 launch but was pushed back as a result of Covid-19. It was then redesigned as a shorter 11-episode series. Created by Melissa London Hilfers, the musical drama revolved around Dottie (Susan Sarandon) and Albie Roman (Trace Adkins), the heads of a country music empire, and their daughter Nicky Roman (Anna Friel), who does all she can to protect the family’s reign in country music while ensuring her own stardom. The drama also starred Joshua Sasse, Beth Ditto, Iñigo Pascual, Meagan Holder, Eva Amurri, Emma Milani, and Martha Higareda. It featured guest appearances...

Monarch Canceled at Fox
Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins, Anna Friel, and Rachel Ann Kearns in Monarch (2022)
The Roman Family's story will be incomplete on Fox.

According to Deadline, Monarch has been canceled after one season.

The news dropped just one day after the Monarch Season 1 finale, which was another shocking hour of the Country Music drama series.

Monarch launched in the fall, despite being initially set to premiere much earlier this year.

At the time of the delay, Fox noted that it wanted to give the show more time for promotion.

The series debuted with a football lerad-in back in early September with 4 million viewers and a 0.91 rating, with the premiere going on to reach much higher numbers with encores and delayed viewing factored in.

Unfortunately, the show failed to garner much traction in its regular Tuesdays at 9 p.m. time period, with the series overall averaging 1.9 million viewers and a 0.3 rating

The finale on Tuesday managed 1.6 million viewers and a 0.2 rating.

The series lost around...

‘Monarch’: Fox Pushes “Priority” Drama To Fall
Image
Monarch, the country music family dynasty series starring Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins, Anna Friel and Beth Ditto, has become the latest victim of Covid-19.

Fox has pushed back the launch of the series from January to fall, citing the rising spread of the virus. The series was set to premiere on Sunday January 30.

The network called the series, which is its first fully-owned drama, a “top priority” but was forced in to the move as a result of the impact of the pandemic on production.

Fox is hoping that by shifting the show to fall of its 2022/23 season, it will benefit from having the entire first season produced and more time to market the drama.

It is one of the most significant scalps of the rising spread of the Omicron variant. A number of broadcast shows from NCIS to Chicago Fire and late-night shows such as The Late Late Show...

‘Monarch’: Jon Feldman Named Showrunner, Replacing Michael Rauch On Fox Family Drama Series
Image
Exclusive: Fox’s Monarch is getting a new boss after former Designated Survivor showrunner Jon Feldman took over the reins of the musical drama series.

Feldman has been named showrunner of the country music series, replacing Michael Rauch.

The series, which stars Susan Sarandon, Trace Adkins and Anna Friel, is set to premiere on Sunday, January 30 at 10 p.m. Currently in production, Feldman will now oversee the series, which was created by Melissa London Hilfers.

Deadline understands that given the size of the show – it is a sprawling musical family epic – there were some speed bumps hit during filming and Fox, which owns the series as its first live-action series fully since the sale of 20th Television to Disney, felt it needed to pivot. We hear that production was briefly halted as Harmon Feldman took over the position.

Rauch, who created CBS drama series Instinct and was exec producer on Royal Pains,...

Eva Amurri, Susan Sarandon’s daughter, will join her mom in Fox’s upcoming straight-to-series music dynasty drama Monarch, produced by Fox Entertainment.

And when their reign as country royalty is put in jeopardy, heir to the crown Nicolette “Nicky...
