Cal Roberts That’s the point of the novel, they are classist elitists and terrible people. The book isn’t romanticising them it’s exposing them. Did you read the book? Or did you just feel like leaving a little quip instead of a real review?

Cody Johnson Carla, they don't act like real people and there aren't real people like them so I don't get what the big wow factor is about exposing them. Wow, people who live in a fantasy world and don't care about other people are actually bad wow. The book is well-written and an interesting atmosphere but I can't be blown away by it like some people are. I may have missed some stuff or its just not for me...

T Dang, this review is too good. And probably too true. I've never seen so many reviewers apologize for not liking a book. Admit it, people: The Secret History doesn't belong in any conversations about literary classics. It just ain't that great.
