3.25+ RATING- Reading through some of the short and novella length holiday books I have on my kindle. Picked up this one today for free. Because of the shorter length, there wasn't a lot of room for development. Still, the story featured a wounded warrior (which I love!), an independant heroine, and overall, was pretty cute. There were a couple editing issues but those were easy to overlook. I really liked Mac, he was a great protective hero. I think the story had potential to be a bit longer but it worked for what it was. I would read this author again and recommend this book if able to pick up for free.
