I loved this little book. It was fun, feisty and a little sad too.
Regan IS hell on heels. She's pretty wicked and full of life. Feels things to extremes. A commitment-phobe who loves to travel and left her sleepy town in the middle of a family war. Now she's back and everyone wants to know why, but Regan doesn't know.
There's loads of arguing and fighting, but it's surprisingly light-hearted and silly. Kinda funny too.
Our hero, Brooks is a lovely alpha male, obsessive, jealous and down to earth. Regan and Brooks have a crazy love/hate relationship; lots of fighting filled with sexual tension.
I think the author should really repackage this book; a more appealing cover and take away the word 'Christmas' in the title - a tiny tweak with the editing as two or three lines didn't make sense. It would definitely sell more.
Most of all, I enjoyed the crazy characters. The classic mom, the bitch ex, the pseudo dad, the evil mother in law, the cheeky kids, the rocker, the billionaire, the alpha, the bro.... I really loved them all.
