This is an it’s not the book, it’s me situation.
The writing is good and I was really lookin forward to a fantasy/fae Cinderella retelling. However, I didn’t really like that the characters met, knew each other, and fell in love previous to the book.
Then, everything seems to be happening because of a magical miscommunication, but a miscommunication none the less.
I just do t find myself wanting to find out what happens next.
