I’m so numb right now. My emotions have taken a beating so many times at this point I can’t feel the pain anymore 🤠

[𝐓𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞, 𝐈 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐛𝐜 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 <𝟑 ]

The way this book breathed life into me at the start, had me all giddy, and began to slowly chip away at my sanity 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑳𝑳 𝑯𝑨𝑫 𝑴𝑬 𝑪𝑹𝑨𝑾𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑴𝑶𝑹𝑬 will never make sense to me. I commend Amber Nicole for immersing me 𝘚𝘖 𝘞𝘌𝘓𝘓 into their world. I never felt like I wasn’t part of the adventure and reading this was an 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀. 😌

𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗔 first and foremost is an insanely well-written FMC.

𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇 𝐀𝐈𝐑. I loved the pure fierce determination in her every step. I screamed when I saw her powers and I honestly enjoyed her bantering nature. She had such heart and it made me really connect to her character. The way she loved showed in her actions. The fact that she goes through so much shit but still manages to have that fire in her spirit and come out of it alive stamps her as one of my favourite heroines from all of the fantasy books I’ve read.

𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗠. 𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗠. 𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗠. Gah, this MANNNN! 🤭
He was the gushiest, most upfront and adorable MMC. (ALSO I KNEW IT HA!)

𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝘂𝘆’𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗵, 𝗴𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁. 𝙎𝙞𝙜𝙝.

His inner monologue made me AWWH and feel everything. His emotional journey was amazingly done and I couldn’t help but adore him for sticking through everything. And the way he doesn’t realise that whatever he says offends the other person is hilarious.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐜 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑨𝑵𝑬.

They 𝑆𝐸𝑅𝐼𝑂𝑈𝑆𝐿𝑌 hated each other the way enemies to lovers is 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 to be. They were disgustingly against one another and the way they 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 about each other was 🤌
The slow burnnnn almost killed me. The tension was almost tangible bc I suffered from the PAIN of waiting so long. I got scraps. Crumbs I tell you! But every morsel I did get was ✨ 𝗗 𝗘 𝗟 𝗜 𝗖 𝗜 𝗢 𝗨 𝗦 ✨



𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙚?? 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧?!

I deserve compensation for all this emotional abuse.


I loved every single page and it's a crime that it had to finish. I want to LIVE in this book 😩
