You can start an AppleCare+ plan when buying a new product with Apple online or through the Apple Store app. For 60 days after a new Apple purchase, you can get a new plan through the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Theft and loss coverage is included for iPhone with your AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plan.
When you protect your iPad with AppleCare+, you’ll get coverage for accidental damage for one Apple Pencil and one Apple‑branded iPad keyboard. AppleCare+ also covers any in-box cables and power adapters that came with your covered Apple product.
You can get your device repaired a few different ways. You can mail it in using a prepaid shipping label from Apple. Or you can bring it in to an Apple Store or any of the over 5,000 Apple Authorised Service Providers. It depends on your product and the type of repair. Same-day service is available for iPhone in most major metropolitan areas. For most other products, we offer Express Replacement Service, where we’ll send you a device so you don’t have to wait for a repair. If your iPhone is lost or stolen, you can get started on filing a claim at mysupport.apple.com/theftandloss. Your replacement will be shipped to you. If you are travelling when you lose your device, we can ship your replacement to any of the countries where theft and loss is offered.
