A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through 7 PM Monday for northeasterly winds around 20-25 knots with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 5-8 feet. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Today will yield seasonal temperatures with skies gradually clearing through the day.

Partly cloudy skies will prevail across area beaches today with a low risk of rip currents. Remember, a low risk does NOT mean no risk. Dangerous swimming conditions are still possible, especially near piers and jetties.

Drier conditions then prevailing through mid week. Slight rain chances return to the forecast by late week. Temperatures will be below normal early in the week, followed by a warming trend mid to late week as onshore flow resumes.
