When we were informed by Rose Tailleleur, the nice assistant of Samuel Lessage that he wanted to show us the setting of the backgrounds in the new Studio where will be filmed the 1rst Episode of the Season II, we were speechless !

Why did you start blogging?
because I've started painting !! ... seriously  (hum), I have seen many friends on Benno's Forum starting the blog-adventures and I could not resist at the temptation... Weak I am.

....  parce que j'ai commencé à peindre! Sérieux ... (hum), j'ai vu beaucoup d'amis sur Benno's Forum commencer la blog-aventure et je n'ai pas pu résister à la tentation ... je suis faible.

 If you could change one thing about the [wargaming] hobby, what would it be? 
if it's just for me: having more time and be able to finish my projects !
if it's for The Hobby in general , well.. nothing !   Each person on Earth is free to do what he like with the skills he has, I'm not the Judge.

 si c'est juste pour moi: avoir plus de temps et être en mesure de terminer mes projets!

What miniatures are you most proud of having painted? Definitively the Valdemar's set "the Death of a King" that I've painted for my beloved father after his death ...

How do you deal with burn out? easily  : never burned out ! just a little bit stressed sometimes ...
Comment réagissez-vous au "burn out" ? facilement: je ne suis jamais "burned out" ! juste un peu stressé parfois ...

Why is a raven like a writing desk? Scott said that we have just to google it and I've not googled !
my idea is that the Black of the Raven is like the Blackboard where we can write with pieces of chalk.. words  could always be deleted.
Pourquoi un corbeau est-il comme un écritoire ? Scott dit que nous avons juste à le googler et je n'ai pas recherché sur Google ! mon idée est que le noir du corbeau est comme le tableau noir où l'on peut écrire avec des morceaux de craie .. les mots peuvent toujours être supprimés.

Star Wars or [Star Trek] LoTR? I've changed the 2nd movie because I've never seen Star Trek !!
I will just say that I've not read the Star Wars Books ...

What is your favourite takeaway ? I think that it could be a "Fish and Chips" if I was living in Great Britain... In France: a simple sandwich with butter and row Ham and good bread.
Quelle est votre plat préféré à emporter? Je pense que cela pourrait être un "Fish and Chips" si je vivais en Grande-Bretagne ... En France: un simple sandwich avec du beurre, du jambon de campagne et du bon pain.

I've decided to post at the end of each month, one or several monks from different sets .
(and don't ask me why : I don't know !)

For the 1rst post of the serie, I've chosen one Valdemar's monk from this set :
"Pilgrims (set II)"
..... more to see in the future !

J'ai décidé de peindre et publier chaque mois un ou plusieurs Moines/Religieux de différentes marques.
Ce mois-ci, j'ai choisi le moine du set Valdemar : "Pilgrims II" (Pélerins).

1-Another ship like mine has been painted and showed in Uncle Brian "A fist full of Plastic"
 and he will post some other ships very soon !
2-Like some of didn't notice (sic), the rowers in the boat are not in the good position !
They must row sitting in the other direction !
What could I say more about those pirates ? 
They are rowing towards a Ghost Ship (Jay's idea !), without weapons and oars but with a lot of courage !! 


Je voudrais aussi en profiter pour apporter quelques précisions à propos de mon article précédent ( ici ):
1-Uncle Brian ( "A fist full of Plastic" ) a posté un bateau identique au mien il y a quelque temps et d'autres sont en préparation ! 
2-Comme vous l'aurez sans doute noté (sic), les rameurs ne sont pas assis dans la bonne direction !
Ils devraient ramer dos au sens de navigation !
Que dire de plus à leur propos ?
Ils rament vers un vaisseau fantôme, sans armes et sans rames, mais avec beaucoup de courage !

You have seen them in my precedent post ("Paint Table Saturday II "), but I've promised to show you them again !
Those Orcs are a gift of Stéphane-Mehapito Master of "Au Bord du Fleuve" !
I've said that they were Uruk-Hai and "finecast" minis, but Stephane explained to me that they were plastic Mordor's Orcs !
Honesty, the sculpt is quite bad but the poses are not bad and they were very easy to paint !
(I think that I've painted them in 2 hours and that is a record for me ! )
I hope that the result is not too bad ...

I'm a member of the Google+ Group " Paint Table Saturday" but I've never published a post about !

It's an initiative of  Sofie Vandersmissen (blog: "Sofie's Paint Blog") and I think that it's a good idea!

 Just a picture and no "blabla" ! you can imagine (or not!) all what you want (or not!) about what you see on my paint-desk !

My friend Hugh from "Small Scale World" has send us a lovely advent calendar from "Dr Who Adventures"!



It contains a lot of "monsters" : Daleks, Silents, Cybermen, Weeping Angels, Judoons, etc...   in a very soft plastic (I don't think that they could be easy to paint!):
