I've an idea floating in the soup of my cranium about a mother tree. I've a real problem getting ideas to completion that I will blame on my Asperger's, ADD, whatever we are calling it now. 

  The fantastic cartoonist “Garrincha” (Gustavo Rodriguez) has opened a personal website to post his great cartoons. Gustavo is formerly from the country of Cuba and now, luckily for us United Statesers, resides in Miami Florida! He contributes cartoons to many websites and publications and is a featured cartoonist for the Miami El Nuevo Herald . Gustavo also has a blog that is updated frequently with new works. His cartoons span the subjects of erotic humor, politics and comic strips. He is immensely talented and, more importantly, a great guy. A Message From Ares in Havana: The Yves Laroche Gallery placed in Montreal It is commercializing a work of the internationally well-known Cuban artist Arístides Hernández Guerrero (ARES) violating his author rights and signed by another person “ARIEL?”. “Imagine” was created by Ares in the year 2002 as an acrylic on canvas painting of 1 m x 75 cms for an exhibition organized in the city of Cuneo in Italy. In Cuba several collections of T-shirts were made from a photo of this work and in the year 2005 a series of silk screens and many other impressions in different supports. Through the miracle of the Internet, I stumbled upon an absolutely wonderful illustrator from Paris, France. Her name is Delphine Durand. I am completely taken with the pure joy she seems to draw with. I don’t know if she attended an art school but her work conveys the feeling of someone NOT corrupted by professional education. Her art isn’t so slick and perfect that it becomes boring. A nice collection of her art can be found on her Flickr page as well as her blog . Her published books are, thankfully, available. I love collecting children's books so I will be adding as many of Delphine’s as possible. Hopefully, I will learn a lot from Delphine’s art. I am compelled to travel into her fantasy landscapes.

Carlos Latuff, the widely admired cartoonist from Brazil, created this stunning poster today. It is sure to stir howls of anti-Semitism from Zionist thugs everywhere and  a lot of wailing about "Israel having the right to defend itself. Ignore that noise and support the right of Palestinians not to be slaughtered by an overwhelmingly superior military force. A word from Carlos: I'd like to beg all viewers to spread this image anywhere, as a way to expose Israeli war crimes against Palestinians. Use it on t-shirts, posters, banners.
