This episode of the Awesomed By Comics Podcast is brought to you by Evie's Birthday, with a special message from her mom! As usual, big wins for The Unwritten and Echo, Bruce Wayne's back before he's gotten back, Aaron can't understand why he doesn't hate Walkin' Supes as much as he probably should, and the new Knight and Squire knocks Evie base over apex and makes her want to shove madam palm and 'er five sisters in the map of tassie, innit? But the book's banging on about faff gives Aaron the habadabs.

ABC Podcast Episode #71 and visual aids

Magnificent mathiness this week in Echo, musical mirth in Deadpool Team-Up and marvelous magic in Strange and Black Widow & The Marvel Girls. New star fave Kieron Gillen takes over Thor, and Fantastic Mr. Fox gets tremendous mileage out of a fist pump.

ABC Podcast, Episode #37a and #37b (bonus Watcmen episode), and visual aids
This episode of Awesomed By Comics is brought to you by Meat Twister, left hand pork cutlet, right hand tripe! We leave the Watchmen jibber jabber for a separate bonus show, and celebrate the fact that while a mixed bag, none of this week's comics screamed for Crap of the Week. Watery books like Submariner: the Depths and Spider-Man Human Torch: Bahia de los Muertos float to the top, as does Abnett and Lanning's start on War of Kings, which breaks Aaron and Evie's hearts on behalf of Ronan the sad, sad Accuser.

This is gimmicky, but sometimes a few haikus, help me to wake up
Final Crisis 3
Feels like that one time in math
When you were real high
Echo is lucky
Who doesn't want a brassiere
That smites enemies
Mary Jane Watson
Eats EZ Cheez for dinner
And loves Spidey Kong
That Patsy Walker
Hangs with Inuit witches
And can drive standard
Robin, Boy Wonder
Is a better detective
Than Grant Morrison
While Cable escapes
Cyclops has an angsty fest
And gets some boobies
Feels like that one time in math
When you were real high
Echo is lucky
Who doesn't want a brassiere
That smites enemies
Mary Jane Watson
Eats EZ Cheez for dinner
And loves Spidey Kong
