Käsittämätöntä, on

KESÄKUU!!!

Kuinka nopeasti toukokuu kuluikaan!?

Toukokuussa saimme nauttia muutamasta lämpimästä kevätpäivästä.

Iltapäivät kuluivat ulkona kukkapenkin kimpussa.

Nyt kesäkuun ensimmäisenä päivänä sää on niin viileä,

että menin ulos samoilla vaatteilla kuin helmikuussa.

Toivottavasti nyt edes hivenen lämpiäisi!

Koska harrastukset ovat olleet ulkoilu painotteisia

ovat miniasiat olleet tauolla.

Jotain miniä olen kuitenkin tehnyt.

Muutamia viikkoja sitten tilasin fb:n kirppikseltä Katriina Alasen Orkidea-kittejä.

Minulla(kin) on 'pari' aikaisemmin
Katriinalta hankittua kukka-kittiä odottamassa sitä 'oikeaa hetkeä'. ;)

Tällä kertaa päätin, että kun kitti kopsahtaa postilaatikkoon,

tartun heti toimeen, otan härkää sarvista, orkideaa ilmajuurista ja teen ainakin yhden

Orkidean valmiiksi!

Yksi iltapäivä kului terälehtiä lajitellessa ja ohjetta lukiessa.

Pääsin kuitenkin hyvään alkuun.

Toisella istumalla homma eteni jo hyvää vauhtia.

Mutta kuinkahan nuo kukat oikeasti ovat tuossa varressa kiinni?

Piti käydä kukkakaupassa tarkistamassa.

Okei, close enough,

kunhan tarpeeksi kaukaa katsoo. :D

Mutta olen tyytyväinen!

Peilipöytä on Christian Lundkvistin tuotantoa.

Käsipeili on Minimarkkina hankinta Kati Kainulaisen pöydästä

ja liinan on tainnut virkata Sisareni Tuija.

Whilst Rauha and Ilona are preparing their x-mas in Girasol.

Söpökatu has got new inhabitant.

The first story begun in our Mini club meeting two weeks ago.

Artturi is in the middle with his shoes on.

At home we were talking and learnt to know each other better.

I found out that Artturi likes to watch the Emmerlade farm from telly.

Surprise! That's my favorite tv-show too.

What a nice man he is!

'Look! Rishi has the same haircut as I do!

Well, almost.

Anyways, where's my hat and jumper?

I must go to work now.'

Artturi found his hat and jumper and left for work to his stall.

Stay tuned...

I will soon tell you more about Artturi and his life.

And I guess Artturi is first going to show you his market stall.

He is so proud about it.

Tomorrow I will visit the handicraft fair in Turku.
When I'll be back home I guess I have some new purchase to show you. ;D
That is why I now show you my latest buys.

Here is a sewing table which I bought

in the cute little local shop Pienikamari.

A tea set on the table is gift from my workmate Sari.

She brought it for me all the way from Thailand

where she had her holiday last month.

Wasn't that lovely thing to do? ♥

I couldn't resist the cat picture when I saw it in Pienikamari.

I think the cat in the picture looks a bit like our Neko. :)

There was also something else what I couldn't resist.

It is a secret gift. Shhh...!

Maybe we'll see later what was wrapped in a fox paper. ;)

Nellie from Finnaimo set her minimarket at

Kirpputori Silinteri last month.

I bought a carpet and some accessories for my Casa Zineb.

Let see what I'll found at the Nellie's market

next time (4.-5.4.2014) when she comes to the town.

And now I'll tell about my last weekend at country side...

As my daughter is now studying abroad

I've got a huge responsibility for her cat.

'Cause I wanted to stay over night my mum's so of course I took The Cat with me there.

And what did The Cat do in return?

You don't probably want to know...but I'll tell you anyway!

He pooped in the car!!! :O

Well, it wasn't so bad how it might sound at first and

we both ended to enjoy our weekend. :)

At cottage we had some autumn works to do...

Like brushing down leaves from the cottage's roof.

While I was brushing on the roof my mum was raking a whole forest.

Well, almost. ;D

She also had to look after me and say every other second:

'Just do not fall down from there now! Just don't fall... '

Mums! ♥

There was a quite a nice view from the roof to see.

The same view from the terrace the evening before.

Pretty, I say. But am I one to tell? :)

The weather forecast is promising sleeting and snowing for us in the end of this week.

Let's see if they are right.

Now, some spring news...
Today, on our way to the cottage we saw two swans and two cranes near the road.

Looong time ago Ilona from MiniMumLoon wrote on her blog

that she saw cranes flying to the North.

I am sure the cranes are the same ones that Ilona sent us.

Pls, enlarge the photo to have better look of cranes on the background.

Thank you very much Ilona!

I am happy to tell you that the birds have arrived safely.

Though, I can not guarantee their safety if they dine on my mum's potato patch. :D

Kevät- Welcomes- Spring

TERVEHDYS KAIKILLE!

HELLO EVERYBODY!

Kevät on viimein saapunut!

Ensimmäiset krookukset avautuivat jo pari viikkoa sitten.

Yleensä, joka ikinen vuosi, jänikset ovat käyneet popsimassa krookukseni.

Jostain syystä tänä vuonna kukat saivat kukkia aivan rauhassa.

Lienekö syynä uusi puutarha apulaiseni, joka kävi päiväkävelyllä kukkapenkissä!?

No, enpä tiedä...apulainen keskittyi enemmän sisähommiin.

Tosin, kasvihuone hommat olivat hänelle niin rankkoja, että

seuraavana päivänä hänen piti ottaa pienet, muutaman tunnin, päivänunet.

Minulle kyllä riittäisi ulkona haravointia ja muuta kevätjärjestelyä.

Mutta koska olkaan sattuu ja niskaan koskee,

olen lähinnä odotellut koivun oksien vihertymistä.

Olen myös katsellut kuinka tulppaanien ja narsissien lehdet

työntyvät lupaavasti maasta.

Kevätluonnon ihastelun lisäksi,

olen yrittänyt levätä niskaani olemalla mahdollisamman vähän tietokoneella.

Tässä kohtaa kiitänkin kaikkia teitä ihanaisia,

jotka olette käyneet kommentoimassa ja tervehtimässä minua täällä Söpökadulla.

Northern lights and greetings to all readers

Tänä iltana näimme taivaalla jotain hyvin epätavallista.

Pohjoisessa Suomessa revontulia nähdään useamminkin.

Mutta meille keskisuomalaisille tämä

luonnonilmiö on aivan erityistä herkkua.

Tyttäreni onnistui nappaamaan kuvan

näistä ihmeellisistä taivaan valoista.

This evening we saw something extra ordinary in the sky.

Northern lights!

In northern Finland these lights can be seen more often.

But for us, who are living in the middle of Finland,

this is rare speciality.

My daughter managed to catch a pic of

the beautiful aurora borealis.

With this amazing spectacle of the sky

The flower was kept outside all summer.
It started to bloom enormously after it was taken back inside.
