LayerEdge is a decentralized verification layer that enables scalable, cost-efficient, and secure zk-proof verification, backed by Bitcoin. It is designed to serve as a universal infrastructure layer for verifying off-chain computation.SubQuery is a leading multichain blockchain indexer used by many projects within the LayerEdge ecosystem. With fast, flexible, and open-source data indexing, it makes sense to use SubQuery to power your next LayerEdge project.

3.9x Faster than The GraphIterate and deliver faster with extremely quick sync times and parallelised processing. Reduce data latency with immediate indexing of unfinalised blocks.
More Features and FlexibilityAchieve your goals with more advanced features, and the flexibility to run custom code or call external APIs within your mapping functions.
Built for LayerEdge and moreMulti-chain by design with the widest chain support by any indexer. Index and aggregate multiple networks into the same SubQuery API at the same time.
Bring web2 performance to Web3
SubQuery APIs make your LayerEdge dApp lighting quick. By providing a indexed data layer, your LayerEdge dApps get richer data faster to allow you to build intuitive and immersive experiences for your users.
SubQuery is open-source and designed to be easy to run, meaning you have the freedom to run it locally on your own computer (or a cloud provider of your choosing). There are two ways to run a project locally, using Docker or running the individual components using NodeJS services.
Welcome to the future of Web3 infrastructure - performant, reliable, and decentralisedThe SubQuery Network enables an open Web3 data revolution by allowing you to completely decentralise your infrastructure stack. Better yet, host your indexers for FREE thanks to our network reward mechanisms.
There are a number of external centralised hosting services that offer reliable hosting of production SubQuery data indexing projects. These services are managed by external partners and are designed to make it easy to deploy, manage, and scale your SubQuery projects.

How does the SubQuery indexer work?SubQuery is designed to make building your own custom API for your Web3 project as easy and painless as possible. It just takes three steps
01Initialise
Run subql init to create a new project from hundreds of different example templates, or autogenerate code from your own EVM ABIs or Cosmos Protobufs.
02Build
All you need to do is edit three files, your GraphQL schema definition, your project manifest, and finally the mappings for your ETL pipelines.
03Query
Run yarn dev to spin up a Docker container with your project (or deploy to our Network) and start querying against your indexed data via GraphQL.
