Description
Hello there!

Playing a campaign with the High Elves or any other race with highly desired traits? Want to have a less terrible time waiting around fishing for said decent traits? This is the mod for you!

Note: There are a few mods similar to this on the workshop, but I couldn't find one that met my specific desires + avoided some issues with numbers behind the scenes that seemingly broke existing systems. So here's my crack at it:

CHANGES:
  • Vanilla/Default functionality: Character (Lords & Heroes) Recruitment Pools refresh every 10-15 turns and cap out at 2 in each recruit pool for new recruits.
  • Modded functionality: Character (Lords & Heroes) Recruitment Pools now refresh every 2-3 turns (a 500% increase, or 1/5 the original duration) and cap out at 3 in each recruit pool for new recruits.

COMPATIBILITY:
This mod should be relatively highly compatible and it can be enabled mid-campaign, HOWEVER you will need to give it a few turns to catch up.

I can make no promises for compatibility with other mods, as there are thousands to check, and only one of me. It works great even with 30+ disparate mods installed though! Any other mods that mess with Heroes in general can be suspect, so be careful.

TESTING:
Tested mainly during patch 5.1 (post-Thrones of Decay + Karanak) in the Immortal Empires Campaign.

Stuck at 0 availible heroes for all categories

Not working for me. Tested with new save, without any other mods. It did reset the amount to 0, but never goes above 3.

Does it only add one new lord/hero per turn? So if I have zero heroes to recruit, the next turn there will only be one hero?

Had a weird bug I think was related to this mod- when I tried to recruit a lord (and caravan- playing the chorfs) at turn 5 there were zero options. Not a single lord existed that could be recruited. I've never seen that before. The next turn there was a single option for each category. Probably the same issue Flying Fox mentioned in an earlier comment.

anyone have any luck bumping the cap to more than 3 heroes in one pool??

I haven't tested it yet, but I suspect "min_total_recruitment_pool_entries=3" could be taking all agent types into consideration, so as long as one agent type has 3, the other ones may be overlooked.
I'm setting it up to 9, I doubt this'd help but a headscratcher for anyone interested
