It seems to force the map's consistency, making it unplayable. Do you know of any solution for this?
rating:6/10
Black Mesa: Hazardous Environment is a difficult, quirky, trolly, and at times janky Custom Map that is fun (and funny) to play with a group of experienced friends on voice call, but it could quickly become tedious and/or rage-inducing if played with pubs and/or bots on Expert Difficulty or higher.
BM:HEV is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it’s an absolutely beautiful fully original Half-Life 1-inspired Custom Map (not a port). It looks great visually and the HL1 atmosphere is recreated faithfully. But on the other hand, its difficulty is very high, spikes during certain scripted events, and strangely follows a reverse difficulty progression curve (the relative difficulty of the map starts out at a 10/10 right away and then gradually diminishes as you progress).
