Youtube won't stop silently deleting my comments and I have no idea why, so I'm doing this instead.

The way The Internet Archive stores backed-up Youtube videos is, thankfully, standardized. After all, even if they store multiple versions of a video's page, they only need to store the video once.
You can use this URL to access the Wayback Machine's archived copy of any Youtube video, if it is archived at all: web.archive.org/web/2oe_/http://wayback-fakeurl.archive.org/yt/video_ID_here
Simply replace video_ID_here with the ID of the Youtube video you want to grab (the bit after watch?v= in the URL.)
