I was too young to realize what 9/11 was when it happened.

I now know what it feels like.

The game has somehow gotten worse and worse the longer it's been out.

At the time of writing this review I have not played the game since Apr 3 2022, if I somehow end up getting a game ban that shows up on my Steam Profile despite not having opened the game since last year I will be very upset.

TOTA smells like PoE 2 beta testing and it's not good.
At least the base game is alright.

The gameplay loop is really good.

Completely makes me overlook the fact that there's little to no progression available in the game.

"There's no content. What do we do?"

Their way of answering that question was probably the worst imaginable approach. They banned every player that was maxed out in crafting and gathering for various reasons and then they made the upgrade path significantly harder.

And when your guild crafter that you pooled resources to gets banned you essentially banned the entire guild because nobody will feel like playing anymore.

New player experience is garbage.

The game doesn't have enough players.

As a brand new player you can get matched against people ranked top 10 in your region.

I've never played an FPS that ran this badly. With a 5900x and a 3080 I struggle to get 60 fps on some maps.

Tried it again, the game still runs like garbage. Also I encountered a ton of animation lock when trying to fire and leaning. Got killed a few times because of it. The game's developed by complete amateurs.

This is very much a Coffee Stain Studios special.

Push the developer to release the game on early access, people finish the content in 3 days and then there's nothing left to do for 2 years.

Better than Sandstorm in every single way.

Probably because the devs are too incompetent to use UE4 for the new one.
