I am a gamer from the Caribbean, a Fountain Pen enthusiast, Metalhead, Tinkerer and who knows what else. lol

I am also an old-school technician for PCs and servers. DOS, Unix, and Windows 1.0 were where I started. Novell/Tring followed back in the days of the mainframe. Linux was amazing to be part of in the early 2000s. Everything else has been a blur. I had an 2600 modem. I still remember the original Alice bot and Shadow Factor protocols. Old-school Phrozen and 2600 crew were the keys to so many of us growing up in an era when things were very, VERY different... Anyone here remember a certain W/dimension? :) Much BBS love. :fluffystore_puff2:

My first experiences were with the original arcade machines back in the '80s, as well as the origins of the x86 platform—the 8086 and its sister, the 8088. From then to now has been an adventure unlike anything else. It's mind-boggling to me, remembering the original blocky graphics on the screen and comparing them to the near-realistic worlds we have now.

I look forward to the next few decades to see what comes next. We gamers live MANY lives. Some good, some bad, all memorable for one reason or another.

Come take a walk with me through several lifetimes. Let's wander the digital landscape together for a moment... or ten.

I am a computer guy that touches on alot of the field, From being and IT guy, graphic artist (mostly vectors), and the guy you come to when you have unusual request. I generally help those that need it both online and IRL. Outisde that I love games, I play a random variety and just generally enjoy life while its still worth living.

Other interest: Fountain Pens, Art: More the physical side of it. Tattoos, Tech, Medical, Martial Arts, Ancient knowlege, Random things that you find when zoned out. Some occult knowlege. Wiccan/ALT/ frendly. Everyones beliefs are their own as far as I am concerned. Never try to convert me. My path free and unbound.

Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE

I bought this game a while back.
It is suprisingly fun. Playing as the MC really does feel like you are in solo leveling. It's not TOO deep of a game, offering itself up as a hack and slash style game with pretty decent boss battles.

The graphics are suprisingly well done. They mastered the 3d anime look. Whoever was doing the character design really poured their soul into development and it shows!.

I personally REALLY enjoy the fights as they take some skill and observation to survive. It only appears to be a simple button mash to victory at first, but as you progress the bosses get much more complex and attack patters become far more vicious.

Don't forget to use block!! Far too often I see people skip blocking attacks and only dodge. Even I am guilty of that.

Progression:
You will at first plow through the game, beating boss and level after level. However at around chapter 3 there will be a slowdown as the boss power ramps up. This is where you must do some grinding to level. Fortunatly they made it better than a grind fest by giving you missions to take out the bosses you already did, in exchange for materials to craft/build weapons for both you and your team of recruted hunters. Overall the experience is pretty fun.

Buy this game and give it a try, you won't regret it. Let's build our shadow army together!
